3. On the File tab, click Save & Send. Under File Types, click Package Presentation for CD,and then in the right panel, click the Package for CD button. Compare your screen with Figure 1.

In the Package for CD dialog box, you can specify where you want to copy the presentation and the Office PowerPoint Viewer program files. For example, you cancopy the presentation and program files to a writable CD, or you can copy the presentation and viewer to a network drive or folder on your computer.

4. In the Package for CD dialog box, click Copy to Folder.

In the Copy to Folder dialog box, you can specify a folder name and location in whichthe presentation and the viewer will be stored.

5. In the Copy to Folder dialog box, verify that the Open folder when complete check box isselected. In the Folder name box, type Lastname_Firstname_p04_Summary

6. Click the Browse button, and then navigate to your PowerPoint Chapter 4 folder. ClickSelect, and then compare your screen with Figure 2.

7. In the Copy to Folder dialog box, click OK. After you read the displayed message regardinglinked files, click No, and then compare your screen with Figure 3.

The files are copied to the folder that you created, and the folder displays the presentation file and the files needed by the viewer.

If you have copied the files to a flash drive, the slide show can be viewed on a systemwith a Windows operating system on which PowerPoint 2010 is not installed but onwhich the PowerPoint Viewer is installed. You can view the slide show by inserting theflash drive into the computer on which you wish to view the slide show, clicking theStart button, and then clicking Computer. Then, you can navigate to the locationwhere the folder is saved, open the folder, and then double-click the file name to startthe slide show.

8. Close the folder to display PowerPoint. Close the Package for CD dialog box, and thenClose PowerPoint.
