Preparations of ECH(broiler)Before Chick ArrivalAFNAN RASHID

Uplifting of Drinker & Feeder:

Drinkers and feeders in ECH are automatic. They are automatically uplifted by a liver fixed in building. Uplifting in done for cleaning purpose. Building is washed by pressure washing.

Washing:

Pressure washing is recommended. All the walls, floor and roof is washed by water. Floor is disinfected by caustic soda(NaOH). Remove spider webs and other waste materials by pressure

washing.

White Wash:

White wash is recommended in whole building as it is disinfectant and maintain biosecurity.

If we are not willing to white wash the whole shed, atleast we should done it 1-2 feets on walls.

Because this level is good for birds.

Maintainance:

Clean the water pipe lines if necessary. Check pipe lines for any leakage. Lab.confirmation: Check medicines, vaccines and other equipments if

necessary. Change the mobiloil of generator and check it for any malfunctioning.

Fumigation:

Finally we spray a disinfectant in the shed and close it for 24 hours.

No one is allowed to visit the shed till the arrival of chicks.
