No surimi or imitation crab — our new crab cakes are made from morsels of real crab meat, and unbreaded, for a genuine look and flavor that’s ideal for a center-of-the-plate presentation.

Species InformationPot harvested from the deep, cold waters off the coast of South America, Deep Sea Crab (regionally known as South American Snow Crab) are brought aboard live and retained in circulating seawater until processing. The result is a fresh, sweet-tasting crab meat that makes a perfect ingredient for a truly “Premium” crab cake -- one that delivers plenty of real crab and natural flavor without overpowering the savory spices that build its complexity.

COOKINg & HANDLINg INSTRUCTIONS

keep frozen until ready to use. cook to an internal temperature of 165°f. cooking times vary with equipment and load; adjust as needed.

convection oven (from frozen): Pre-heat to 350° f. cook on lightly greased baking sheet. cook for 9 to 11 minutes on each side.

tHaWinG instructions: loosely cover Premium crab cakes and completely thaw under refrigeration (about 5 – 6 hours). keep thawed products refrigerated and use within 2 to 3 days.

convection oven (from tHaWed): Pre-heat to 400° f. cook on lightly greased baking sheet. cook for 4 to 7 minutes on each side.

Pan sear/flat Grill (from tHaWed): in lightly oiled pan, cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes on each side.

Our crab meat ingredient is totally removed from the shell. As with all crabmeat, however, occasional shell pieces might still be present.
