WHO'S WHO in THE CAST
RUTH COUNCIL (Mrs. Metcalf) appeared in the HBO movie AsSummers Die with Bette Davis, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Scott Glen.She is a retired educator who worked for 30 years as a teacher and administrator. Ms. Council is active in community work and is currentlyPresident of the Valdosta Lowndes Retired Teachers Association. Sheis the wife of Ralph Council, Assistant Superintendent of the LowndesCounty School System and the mother of two daughters, Lynette andYvette.
JERRY DICKSON (Christopher Wren) has appeared in numeroussummerstockproductions throughout the southeast. He has taughtdramain education for over twenty years, has judged many state beauty contests, and has appeared in the VSC production of Murder of RogerAckroyd and the LHS Off-Broadway production The Boyfriend. Heteaches Social Studies at Lowndes High, is married to Dr. SandraDickson, LHS Curriculum Director, and has a son Scott, a 9th graderat LHS.
BILL EGER (Mr. Paravicini) has had 19 years theatre experience, working in Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky. He has had acting, singing, andproducing roles in Camelot, Promises Promises, Fantasticks,Come Blow Your Horn, Angel Street, The Boy Friend, andDark of the Moon. He is a business consultant with a degree fromthe University of Miami. Bill is married to Gale Thomas Eger, head ofthe Drama Department at Lowndes High School.
CATHY GILBERT (Miss Casewell) has acted in and directed highschool and community productions. Her experience in drama stems fromhigh school and college involvement. Ms. Gilbert is an English teacherat Lowndes High School; she is married to L.A. Gilbert and they haveone son, Heath, who will debut in Gale Eger's "Off-Broadway" production of "Our Town".
L. A. GILBERT (Giles Ralston) is acting with his wife Cathy for thefirst time in this production. He is the used car Manager at Five PointsToyota, and is looking forward to participating in future LVAC Community Theatre productions.
JOANNE GRINER (Mrs. Boyle) has participated in church dramagroups in Texas, N. Carolina, and Connecticut. A native of Adel, shegraduated from FSU with a degree in drama. Returning to SouthGeorgia in 1985, Ms. Griner now works in the accounting departmentof Dowling Bag Co. She is the mother of 3 grown children.
DENISE HILTON (Mollie Ralston) is a native of Ireland, where shetook part in high school productions. She studied acting at Brenda SmithAcademy in Dublin and took part in the Dublin Theatre Festival of 1980.Ms. Hilton worked as a registered nurse for 3 years in Saudi Arabia whereshe met her husband. She has lived in Valdosta for 4 years and has 2children.
LIEUTENANT PATRICK REYMANN (Detective Sergeant Trotter) appeared in West Side Story while in college. A native of Akron Ohio,Lt. Reymann is a 1987 graduate of the Universityof Notre Dame, holding a degree in electrical engineering. He is employed by Moody AFBand in his spare time enjoys running, tennis, attempting to speak"Southern", and watching tapes of Notre Dame's national championship season.
