Violence against women is considered as a serious public health problem by the World Health Organization (WHO, 2002).
A pregnancy resulting from sexual violence is considered a second violence and is still a difficult aspect of coping.
The prevention of unwanted pregnancy, abortion and its consequences should be elements of high priority for health professionals.
Health professionals and managers have a responsibility to ensure availability and adequate access to emergency contraception to prevent pregnancy forced.
IntroductionIntroduction

ResultsResults
ResultsResults There was a reduced supply of emergency anti-conception in health
services.
The few respondents who reported that the referral is made mention referral services within the municipality.
We recommend measures for the inclusion of the topic in the training of professionals.
The prejudice against abortion laid down in law, aggravated by the existence of just 1 (one) referral service for abortion under the law in all the 92 (ninety two) cities in State of Rio de Janeiro.
ConclusionsConclusions
The abortion issue is still very controversial.
Cultural issues still influence the performance of the health care team in time to provide this health care.
It is necessary to expand courses and workshops that address the topic of access to legal abortion by the health team from the perspective of sexual and reproductive rights.
