Carolinas District Project Since 1981: the Boys and Girls Homes at Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina are Christian residential group care homes for abused, neglected, and dependent children.

Make Your Impact: Key Clubs in the Carolinas have been helping the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina by donating clothing, toys, food, school supplies, hygiene products, time, and money in order to keep the Boys and Girls Homes operational.

Preferred Charities and Carolinas District Project

Goal: UNICEF and the Kiwanis Family have partnered together to eliminate Maternal/Neonatal Tetanus, or MNT, off of the planet by 2015, with the plan to raise US $110 million. Cause: Every nine minutes a baby dies somewhere in the world from MNT, but it only takes US $1.80 to have a mother and her new born baby vaccinated. Make Your Impact: As Key Clubbers, we can help UNICEF and the Kiwanis Family in fundraising for the Eliminate Project. So far we have raised over US $16 million and eliminated MNT from 25 countries, leaving only 34 left that need our help. Join the Kiwanis Family in Eliminating MNT off the face of the Earth for good.
