PREAMBLE
“Phosphate Days 2018” is organized by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in collaboration with Phosphate Research Network (PhoResNet).
PhoResNet is an international network gathering national and international scientists and industrials working on phosphates, phosphate derivatives and phosphorus compounds. One of the main objectives of PhoResNet is to promote research in these fields and create synergies between researchers around the world and between university researchers and industry to boost innovation and develop sustainable solutions for industry and community.“Phosphate Days 2018” includes two events: the “Young Researchers Days” (November 10 and 11) and the “International Conference for Research on Phosphates and Derivatives” (November 12 and 13).
The “Young Researchers Days” is specifically intended for PhD students and young researchers in the field of phosphates and derivatives. This event alternates between training and a competition to select the best researchers, by an international jury. The winning researchers will receive awards and have the opportunity to present their research results in a plenary session at the International Conference for Research on Phosphates and Derivatives. The “International Conference for Research on Phosphates and Derivatives” provides an excellent international platform for academics, researchers, engineers, industry practitioners and students to exchange and share their research findings, with the aim of exploring new ideas, establishing new partnerships and developing new technologies and applications in the framework of open innovation.
The “International Conference for Research on Phosphates and Derivatives” provides an exciting scientific program, which covers all research aspects from the basics to the applications. It includes plenary lectures, keynotes, oral and poster presentations, in addition to workshops and exhibitions. Different topics will be explored in six parallel sessions.
The Conference focuses on the following topics:• Geology• Mining & Beneficiation• Agriculture• Chemistry & Processes• Materials Science• Biotechnology • Water & Energy• Digitalization & Data Science• Modeling • Corporate Social Responsibility
