MARRIAGE the state of being united

to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law 

the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage (same-sex marriage)

RELIGIOUS VIEWS Hindu marriage is a socially approved union

of man and a woman aiming at dharma, procreation, sexual pleasure and observance of certain social obligations.

Islam views it as a strong bond, a challenging commitment in the fullest sense of the word. It is a commitment to life itself, to society, and to the dignified, meaningful survival of the human race

Christianity views marriage with three major principles including, it involves a man and women, it should last forever and finally the principle of monogamy

PRE- MARITAL COUNSELLING Premarital counselling is a type of

therapy that helps couples prepare for marriage. Premarital counselling can help ensure that you and your partner have a strong, healthy relationship — giving you a better chance for a stable and satisfying marriage.
