As per EIA Notification dated 2006, as amended till date, this project comes under
Mining of Minerals S. No. (1A)-5 Category A, as general condition is application due to
interstate boundary of Rajasthan & Haryana falling within 0.2 km in North direction
from mine site. Hence, environment clearance is required from Ministry of
Environment Forest & Climate Change.
(III) Need for the Project & Its Importance to the Country/ Region
Masonry Stone is mainly the basic raw material used in construction of building
material. Looking into the demand of masonry stone in nearby area, it is necessary to
have this mining project.
(IV) Demand – Supply Gap
Considering the demand of mineral sufficient availability of the mineral in the area, it
is essential to have Masonry stone mine to sustain the supply of mineral for
construction purpose.
(v) Imports vs. Indigenous Production
It is a Masonry Stone mineral used in building construction purpose in Rajasthan,
Haryana, Punjab, Uttaranchal, MP, UP etc.
(vi) Export Possibility
There is export possibility as Masonry Stone mineral used in building construction
purpose in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttaranchal, MP, UP etc.
