Mass Offerings

Having a Mass offering for someone is a

beautiful and priceless gift for birthdays,

anniversaries, remembering a loved one

and other occasions. If you would like to

have a Mass offered, please contact the

parish office or drop an envelope in the

collection basket with the name of the

person for whom you want the Mass of-

fered, whether they are living or de-

ceased, and a $10 stipend for each Mass

offered. �

limitations due to the needs for proper

“social distancing” ; further, there is still

a general dispensation from the

obligation to attend Mass on the Lord’s

Spiritual Communion

Even if one cannot sacramentally

receive the Eucharist, everyone

should be aware of the practice of

making a spiritual communion.

Here is one traditional prayer:

O my Jesus, I believe that You are

in the Blessed Sacrament. I love

you above all things, and I desire

to receive you into my soul. Since I

cannot at this moment receive

you sacramentally, come at least

spiritually into my heart. I em-

brace you as if you were already

there and unite myself wholly to

you. Never permit me to be sepa-

rated from you. Amen

The Knights of Columbus will be selling

cards in person after most Saturday

night and Sunday morning masses in

Lander in the coming weeks. Keep an

eye out for the sign in front of the church,

and stop on by! Joseph Susanka is happy

to deliver them in person, as well, and

can be reached at any time at (307) 349-
