COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN (CCW) Christmas Bake Sale

The yearly Council of Catholic Women (CCW) Bake Sale will take place during the annual "Brunch with St. Nicholas" on Sunday, December 3rd a er the 8:00 am and 10:00 am Masses in the Holy Family Center. Cookies, breads, cupcakes, brownies, bars - all beau fully decorated for Christmas.

OLOL Angel Tree / El Árbol de Ángel Each year, Our Lady of the Lake and the Catholic Mothers' Community sponsors an angel tree to provide members of our community who are less fortunate with Christmas gi s for their family. Please consider providing a gi to aid a family in need. Any amount of support is greatly appreciated!

Angel tags can be selected from the tree in the back of church before and a er all Masses this weekend, November 25th/26th. Angel tree gi s can be returned to the totes under the tree and are due no later than Dec. 10th.

Cada año, Nuestra Señora del Lago y el Concilio de Madres Católicas, promueve un “árbol de ángeles” que proporciónan regalos de Navidad a los miembros menos afortunados de nuestra comunidad. OLOL Refugee Aid Support Group

During this season of Advent as we prepare for the coming of the infant Jesus, let us remember that the Holy Family fled from Bethlehem to the place of Jesus’ birth as refugees to Egypt, to avoid the threat of death. They did not return to his place of birth but instead, Nazareth became his home.

Catholic Chari es prepares safe places for refugees like Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, to land. OLOL Refugee Aid Support Group is a part of this effort.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

Today as we celebrate Christ the King, we hear Jesus say: “...whatever you did for one of the least brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Knowing that we find the face of Christ in the poor, this year, through your gi s, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to serve over 150 families by providing assistance in their me of need. Thank You for your generosity and con nued support.

If you would like to learn more about what we do, as members of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, you are welcome to a end any of our mee ngs. We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month, from 7:00 pm.- 8:00 pm. in room one here at the church.

Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul Hoy que celebramos la fes vidad de Cristo Rey, recordamos que Jesus nos dijo: “… todo lo que hiciste por uno de mis hermanos mas pequenos, lo hiciste para mi.” Sabiendo que encontramos el rostro de Cristo en los pobres, este ano, a traves de sus donaciones, la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul pudo ayudar a mas de 150 familias, dandoles asistencia en un momento de necesidad.
