Prayer for Enlightenment

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.”

Eyes of Your Heart (may be enlightened) Know Three Things:

1) The Hope of His Calling

2) The Glory of His Inheritance

3) The Greatness of His Power

A Spirit Indwelled Church “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.” Eph 2:19-22

A Spirit-Filled Church “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks for all things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.” Eph 5:18-21

A Spirit-Filled Church How to Be A Spirit-Filled Church: 1) By worshipping God with one another

• By speaking to one another (w/ psalms, hymns and spiritual songs)• By singing & making melody with your heart (to the Lord)• By always giving thanks for all things (in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father)

2) By being subject to one another in the fear of Christ
