Vedic Mathematics

• Vedas: Texts from Ancient India in Sanskrit• Mathematics: Study of quantity (how

much?), change (how fast? ), space (shapes), …

• Vedic Mathematics is the mathematical knowledge of ancient Hindus passed down through generations (initially verbally and later codified) as slokas (verses) in Sanskrit.
