Sweet Pea is a perfect show prospect or junior project. A rich red hair coat catches every eye that enters the pen; but, it’s her strong lines and balance that keeps all the attention on her. flawless structure allows for effortless and sound movement and her udder is developing to be as beautiful as her mother’s. Check out the reference picture of her dam; textbook teat size and well-balanced placement. Dana 2S is a dynamite cow that I purchased at the PGA sale a few years back. She has outperformed all expectations and this heifer calf showcases such depth of quality that I could only sell her at the PGA Sale. Destined to produce saleable offspring and look good with a red ribbon, Sweet Pea would make a perfect Christmas gift.

Yellow Rose will definitely have a lot of friends on sale day; sired by DVE Tex 106W, the high seller of the 2009 bull sale and out of the hard working fLAD Teardrop 4T. If you look at our herd, many of our top producing females trace back to the 23L and 71N cow families, so maternal is a definite feature for 13Y. One thing we stress a lot in our cows is udders. Teardrop may have one of the best with excellent teat placement and teat size. Her maternal sister, fLAD fine Wine 89W, was the 2010 Gelbvieh first Lady Champion and will be shown at Agribition 2011 with calf at side.

Black Lace is out of the top end of our 2011 heifer pen. She is a good haired, powerful black Astro daughter that is exceptionally long bodied, very smooth and super feminine. Her dam, 66M, definitely has the most volume of any of our cows and she is consistently producing high quality calves each year and she is as sound as they come. There is not much Bouncer left in the pedigrees today so this is your chance to add some powerful, proven outcross black genetics along with some exciting new red genetics to your herd! A maternal sister, fLAD Underwood 57U, sold to Delbert and Tammy Wyatt at the 2009 PGA Sale. Be sure to check out the flush brothers to Black Lace on April 7, 2012.
