Upgraded Kanha National Park Interpretation Centre, Madhya Pradesh, 2004 (The twelve-year-old Kanha Interpretation Programme Package is being upgraded. This up-gradation is meant to take advantage of modern technological innovations, incorporate latest information and conservation perspective and to create more facilities for the visitors).

Gir Interpretation Centre in Gujarat,2003

Project Tiger Exhibition, 2002 (An exhibition entitled 'India's Wildlife - A Moment for Action' was developed and displayed as part of Wildlife week for the Project Tiger Directorate, Delhi. It consisted of more than 75 photo text panels and a booklet)

Chilika Interpretation Centre, Orissa, 2002-2003 (This centre at Satpada consists of exhibit room displaying a working model of the Lagoon with hydrological engineering, aquariums, local communities, dolphin ecology and birds, visitor’s gallery, children's play area, touch screens, electronic conversation games and diorama on Chilika’s Ecosystem etc., all on a total area of 2500sq.feets).

Floats- Republic Day tableaux,1999 and 2000 (Republic Day tableaux were designed and fabricated for the Gujarat Forest Department on the theme of ‘Marine Life’ in 1999 and ‘Desert Ecosystem’ 2000. The float on ‘Marine Life’ won the first prize).

Mobile Exhibition for Gir Forest Department of Gujarat, 1998. (The Objective was to reach large number of villages and educate rural masses, at their door step, on the importance and benefits of Gir forest on their livelihoods, on preserving the wild life and forests).

The IEC included (selected)- Models on Roof Top Water Harvesting, Agricultural Practices such as seed storage, Watershed Management for Natural resources planning and action using participatory approaches, Geo-hydrological model on Watershed Management, Flash Cards and Rollo graph on Water Borne diseases and best practices in Agriculture, Inputs in the making of a film on working modal of Watershed Management. (The process adopted here was to visit the sites, interact with project staff, village communities and other Stakeholders to exactly understand the messages that they wish to communicate and plan for interventions for sustainable development. The ideas were then transferred to appropriate modals for action by the stakeholders)

Experience Overseas

This year, I was invited by H & H Kaschade Stiftung, Germany to inaugurate the exhibition of my paintings in Museum of Stendal, Germany. Presently, the same exhibition of paintings is displayed in Museums of Lithuania. Next year, it will again be displayed in Germany (Venue is still being decided) – The idea is to show-case the Art from an Indian Artist.
