    2. Pollutant discharge as a basic therapy in modern naturopathy! 2.1. Methods of elimination Modern medicine has been working for years with various elimination methods to free patients from their suffering. Especially with heavy metal exposure pure symptom-oriented treatment methods without previous release of pollutants are hardly successful. In these cases, when the therapy is not successful, doctors often talk about a so-called therapy blockade or resistance to therapy.

The success of a constructive, applied therapy is thus primarily dependent on the quality of the basic work to be performed on the patient and should be carefully considered after a thorough anamnesis and carried out in several consecutive treatment steps. By way of example, it will be readily apparent how one possible treatment concept of a patient, e.g. complaining of intestinal colic and gout, might look.

2.2. Cause-oriented therapy The physician is anxious to recognize the causes of the disease and to apply a successive therapy for healing. Intestinal colic and gout could also be symptoms resulting from increased lead exposure.

    Step 1: Pollutant Examination

    Blood, hair, urine, stool

    Bioresonance

    Vitality scanner

Step 2: Immediate prevention of the causative supply of pollutants

    Change of exposed jobs,

Prevention or minimization of the absorption of pollutants

    Diet

Step 3: Initiation of a suitable detoxification therapy

Detox with DMPS and DMSA - mobilization

Detoxification by means of homeopathic remedies

The detoxification with the body protein glutathione (amalgam discharge)

The binding and detoxification with the medical natural substance MANC® according to HENA®

Step 4: Ingestion of essential substances Vitamins and vital substances Minerals Microorganisms, probiotics

These steps should follow one after the other depending on the treatment condition and success, and it makes little sense to perform step 4 before steps 1-3.

An exception is the use of a DMPS and DMSA withdrawal therapy, as essential substances (zinc, iron) may also be bound and discharged during this form of therapy and lead to deficiency symptoms. In this case, the metabolic organs should be also supported by medication or with MANC® according to HENA®. The advantage of additional treatment with the active ingredient MANC® according to HENA® is specified in detail below.

  • 5

    Particularly important!

Almost all currently used detoxing therapies depend on a proper function of the metabolic organs - liver and kidneys. In the process of therapy, these organs are exposed to even heavier loads, the harmful substances circulating in the body are discharged, for example, through the liver during enterohepatic circulation.

In most cases, however, it is precisely these patients whose liver is already suffering for years from heavy exposure to harmful substances, that need to be treated. In these cases (about 80% of all cases), it is only advisable to use such therapy with special care and constant observation.

Due to this unchangeable fact, more and more therapists are opting for heavy metal removal with the use of natural medical substance MANC® according to HENA® technology.

Mega NFC® medical10 as adjuvant in DMPS and DMSA therapy Mega NFC® medical10 irreversibly binds and releases the contaminants released by the DMPS in the intestinal tract. Thus, the re-poisoning via the enterohepatic circulation can be minimized and the metabolic organs relieved. Experts are currently discussing the standardization of this combined discharge process. The necessary or recommended drug support to the metabolic organs during a DMPS detoxification therapy could be substantially reduced.

Such side effects as tiredness, mild nausea and lack of energy and zest for life are perceived by patients in lighter form, which can be regarded as an additional and significant therapeutic benefit and will contribute to the successful therapy.

    3. The active ingredient MANC® according to HENA® technology MANC® according to HENA® is a natural active ingredient with bioregulatory functionality, that supports the body's own processes and the basic material of the medical Product Mega NFC® medical10 from Nanoble Health Concept GmbH.

    General classification

    Material: natural zeolite

Chemical name: Hydrated alkali-alkaline earth aluminum silicate

    Mineral form: Clinoptilolite-Ca

    Structure: Silicon aluminum tetrahedron

Information on reactivity: Thermal stability: up to 450°C

    Water solubility: No

    Hazardous decomposition products: No

It is used as a functional medical product in powder form, either as a monotherapy or as an adjuvant to classic DMPS and DMSA therapy. MANC® according to HENA® is not being metabolised, but binds pollutants in the digestive tract before they enter the bloodstream.

MANC® according to HENA® is not dependent on the metabolic organs but is a so-called absorber on its own. MANC® according to HENA® is therefore particularly suitable for patients with already limited functionality of the metabolic organs.

    Toxicity: Non-toxic

The principle of zeolite clinoptilolite action (MANC® according to HENA®

technology) is based mainly on its ion exchange capacity.

Product functionality through adsorption and ion exchange

The principle of action of MANC® according to HENA® is based mainly on its ion exchange ability. This is caused by electrostatic interactions based on charge differences of the resident molecules. The silicon-aluminum tetrahedron has an anionic skeleton charge, to which cations in the form of calcium, magnesium, sodium or potassium attach. In the ion exchange process, the below mentioned components are leached out of the zeolite clinoptilolite as cations and replaced by other cations.

It involves the exchange (release) of Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+ and K+.

The adsorption can also be carried out only if they are molecules which have a smaller kinetic diameter than the pore opening of the tetrahedron. Thus, MANC® has a sort of screening function according to the HENA® process and therefore falls into the group of molecular sieves.

Ion exchange with MANC® according to HENA® technology

The ion exchange occurs due to the valency of the ions. Thus, the "stronger" higher-valued ion displaces the "weaker" ion, which has a smaller valence (called electrostatic attraction or Coulomb force) due to its greater binding force.

    Example:

Al3+ verdrängt Ca2+, Ca2+ displaced Na+. However, if the ions are of equal rank, the heavier ion displaces, i.e. the ion with the higher molecular mass, the lighter, i. e. the lower molecular weight ion. This creates the so-called selectivity list. This gives information about the order of the binding of the individual substances to the zeolite clinoptilolites.

    Selectivity series

    Pb2+ > Cs+ > Methylmercury cation >Histamonium2+ > NH4+ > Dimethylamine+ > Cu2+ > Mercury chloride (sublimate) > Cd2+ > Ni2+ > Co2+> K+ > Zn2+ > Mg2+ > Ca 2+.

    Particularly important!

Investigations and research results prove that the medicinal natural substance MANC®

according to HENA® method can not absorb essential substances such as zinc, micronutrients etc. due to its molecular structure and the substance-specific selectivity list.

    4. MEGA NFC® medical10 medical product for oral use 4.1. General product description MEGA NFC® medical10 is the efficient natural medical product of classification IIa for medical products and is meant for the prevention and alleviation of diseases.

Due to its excellent quality and application of the HENA® technology in combination with the most modern micronization MANC®, MEGA NFC® medical10 plays the leading role among the pollutant discharges containing natural clinoptilolite. It is the first purely physical natural active substance, which is not

  • 7

metabolized but only passes through the gastrointestinal tract like a sponge, taking up toxins and eliminating them by natural means. More than 160 million successful daily applications have been reported with the active ingredient MANC®. Application of the HENA® technology multiplies the efficacy of the MANC® natural product and sets the standard for unprecedented quality in the field of zeolite administration.

4.2. Targeted oral products Harmful environmental influences, food and beverages, medicaments residues burden the body with various substances that do not break down and accumulate over time and can lead directly or indirectly to health disorders and overload of the metabolic organs. Medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 can therefore be used successfully for the prevention, therapy and therapy support of illnesses.

The effect is based on the special property - to bind harmful substances already in the digestive tract. It results in less pollutants in the organism. Existing toxins stored in the body can also be absorbed and excreted due to the body-specific osmotic gradient and steady state. Medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 acts purely physically and is not absorbed by the body.

    5. Recommendation by the therapist The concept of Prevention (derived from the Latin) means to prevent an undesirable condition or easier said, for example, to anticipate an earlier disease or to prevent it by appropriate measures. Preventive measures can therefore be proactive and purposeful in helping to avoid health problems. This is where the statement "prevention - the most effective cure" came from.

Severe and chronic diseases affect intensively quality of life.

MEGA NFC® medical10 is capable of binding, among other things, toxic substances such as lead, mercury, cesium, aluminum as well as histamine and other biogenic amines. Due to this capability, is MEGA NFC® medical10 of particular value in prevention process.

Heavy metals are found in air, water, soil, plants, animals, medicines, in everyday products, both in private and public environment as well as at workplaces. They are not only an integral part of the food chain, but through daily contact and increasing concentration have become the general risk factor to human-beings.

MEGA NFC® medical10 in powder form binds harmful substances in the organism and contributes to the prevention of diseases. It relieves the overload of metabolic organs, and can thus, work against stomach and bowel diseases.

5.1. Preventive application for the discharge of the digestive tract The stomach has the task of preparing our food for optimal use. Proteins are predigested in polypeptide chains. The milieu of our stomach is acidic, it is at a pH of about 0.5 to 1.5. In this zone, the enzymes important for pre-digestion, pepsin and cathepsin, have the best conditions for doing their job.

In addition to enzymes, of course, there is also the stomach acid there. It creates the milieu, supports the digestive enzymes and has the important task of killing bacteria in the food. It protects us as good as possible from infections, because most bacteria are not viable in this environment. Unfortunately, it has been known since 1983 that there are bacteria that can survive in the aggressive environment of the stomach. In this context, the rod-shaped bacterium Helicobacter pylori is blamed for some diseases.

The intestine is the most important part of our digestive tract and occupies the considerable part of our total organism with its specific surface area of 450-550 m² and a length of about 8 meters. It begins after the stomach and ends at the anus. The colonization of the intestine with bacteria is called intestinal flora. If we

  • 8

are asked where feelings and health, emotions and intuition, well-being and passion are best to locate, the majority of respondents point to their mid-body, the abdomen.

The reason is more than 100 million nerve cells that surround our guts. It has more neurons even than our spinal cord. This second brain, the colleagues, neuro-scientists have found out, is a quasi-Image of our Head brain. Cell types, active substances and receptors are almost the same in the both. The largest nerve accumulation outside of the head does far more than just already highly complex work of digestion. As a therapist, therefore, one of the first steps should always be to get a grip on the gut of the entrusted patient.

Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract account for a large number of today's complaints. Some of them have become the true folk disease, the reflux disease, also popularly called heartburn, is one of the best known.

MEGA NFC® medical10 in powder form is particularly well suited to alleviate inflammation in the entire digestive tract or to prevent the risk of its progress.

It can be said that medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 can counteract allergies. Through years of experience and reports from patients (currently about 45,000 daily applications of the active ingredient MANC® according to HENA®), one should take for prevention purposes a double sachet at night.

Recommended dosage for the prevention of gastrointestinal health

5.2. Preventive use to relieve the metabolic organs The liver is considered the seat of life force. It is our central metabolism organ. Almost everything that is built up in our body, broken down, saved, supplied, sorted, washed, cleaned, regulated or organized, removed or added, happens with the help of the liver. The liver is the big sufferer. It endures grief, anger and trouble, sugar, medicines, coffee and alcohol, fat, deep-fried, e-substances until one day it overflows "the bile". If it is sick, this remains unnoticed in most cases, since it does not cause pain as other organs. It is said that the pain of the liver is fatigue. Often fatigue and exhaustion ends in depression. Stress affects the liver directly. As stress cramps the liver, the liver-bile ducts are not relaxed enough to ensure the smooth flow of bile. The liver tissue itself does produce pain. At most, the liver capsule can cause pain in the extreme situations, or the organ is already in such a way enlarged that it produces pressure on surrounding structures.

If pain occurs in the right upper abdomen, it is mostly likely caused by gallbladder, which pinches (or pain in the area of the Head's zone on the shoulder). Then there is an urgent need for action - especially if it stings immediately after a meal. Once the gallbladder is massively inflamed, the scalpel is usually suggested as the "only solution".

The University of Greifswald has published alarming figures in its SHiP study on Pomerania's health status in Western Pomerania. According to it, every second man and almost every third woman is from the middle of life affected by a fatty liver decease. The diagnosis of diabetes, fatty liver, high cholesterol and too much uric acid is identified by a lot of patients, not only after 60, but already in their middle age.

But too rich diet or the uninhibited use of luxury foods is not always the cause for it. Since the liver does not

Take 1-2 sachets of MEGA NFC® medical10 with 0.3 l of still water in the morning before the meal and 1 hour before or after any medications.

At lunchtime before the meal and at intervals of 1 hour to any medications 1 x Sachet MEGA NFC® medical10, with 0.3 l of still water.

In the evening before going to bed 1x Sachet MEGA NFC® medical10, take with 0.3l of still water.

only regulate protein, fat and sugar metabolism; mineral, vitamin and hormone balance, and is the most important organ of detoxification of our organism, it almost invariably needs daily support.

As a filter between the intestines and the rest of the body circulation, it prevents pathogens and pollutants, for example, coming with food, from the intestines into the bloodstream. Toxic substances like ammonia are absorbed by the liver and the liver cells detoxifies them.

They become harmless substances, such as urea, which is then excreted via kidneys with urine. Increased ammonium compounds can result in a dysfunctional protein decomposition in the intestine and the liver burden. The medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 is able to take up ammonium compounds, and to relieve the burden from the liver.

5.3. Preventive application for a healthy nervous system The nervous system is very complex but also sensitive. It is, so to speak, the indispensable, vital control center. It has been known for some time that environmental toxins such as lead, and mercury can impair the development and function of the brain and spinal cord even at low doses.

People ingest these substances, albeit in small quantities, daily through food, through drinks, cosmetics, stimulants and through our environment. Diseases that affect our nervous system are on the rise and those affected are getting younger and younger. This area in particular can be positively influenced by the preventive support to the body.

Experts report that MEGA NFC® medical10 can help reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases susceptibility. It is important to know that in most cases, for example, of brain weakness, there is almost always a connection to the liver. Thus, both the liver disease and the brain performance disorder must be individually diagnosed.

Cirrhosis of the liver is the most common underlying disease, with severe bypasses around the liver (portosystemic collaterals). In rare cases, chronic hepatitis with portal hypertension (high pressure in the portal vein) and liver metastases may be the cause of hepatic encephalopathy.

Heavy metal contamination can severely minimize the energy potential of the liver, which limits the detoxification function of the liver and can therefore exert a negative influence on urea synthesis and glutamine synthesis. There is an increase in the level of ammonia in the blood, which has a direct impact on the CNS.

To break this cycle or to prevent its emergence, daily aid to the liver act also as important preventive measure for the protection of central nervous system.

    6. Therapeutic use of MEGA NFC® medical10 6.1. MEGA NFC® medical10 as a general basic therapy for the discharge of pollutants MEGA NFC® medical10 with the active ingredient MANC® according to HENA® technology, acts not only as an adjuvant therapeutic treatment, but also as a monotherapeutic agent. The reasons for this lie in the very gentle nature of the pollutant discharge and the high functionality of the medical product. The therapeutic treatment concept is almost identical in all cases and ensures a high success rate for the therapist with little or no risk potential.

Compared to most common detoxification concepts, the MEGA NFC® medical10 principle of action is not dependent on the basic detoxification organs such as liver or kidneys, since no substances are metabolized and will not have later to be broken down again. Pollutants are directly absorbed and discharged.

The binding of harmful substances takes place exclusively in the digestive tract. Due to the natural

  • 10

concentration balance in the organism as well as the osmotic pressure, even contaminants already deposited in the tissue can be loosened and bound via the intestine.

The binding of exogenously supplied pollutants also takes place in the digestive tract, starting with the oral cavity and ending in the colon. Pollutants can be successfully discharged before they enter the bloodstream. The burden of liver and kidney is largely excluded. Thus treatment of patients who already have impaired liver or kidney function is also possible.

The type, amount and the dosage form of MEGA NFC® medical10 is to be determined by the experienced therapist based on a full examination and medical history of the patient.

6.2. MEGA NFC® medical10 basic therapy metal discharge 6.2.1. MEGA NFC® medical10 based therapy aluminum detoxification The aluminium problem is a matter of great debate. If the body is exposed to excess levels of aluminium which are not entirely excreted by the kidneys and the gall bladder, this can have a toxic impact upon the nervous system and lead to a severe health risk. Kidney patients in particular form the main focus of the analysis, especially those suffering from chronic renal failure in which the excretion process does not function sufficiently well. Fertility, unborn life and bone development are also, due to the hazard potential of aluminium, closely linked with the toxic effects of the metal, according to the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment in response to questions and answers about aluminium in food and consumer products in February, 2015.

Due to the fact the raw material "clinoptilolite" used in the MEGA NFC® medical10 medical product contains aluminium silicon compounds, the facts concerning the exposure to aluminium were recorded and evaluated in the risk monitoring of FROXIMUN® AG and NANOBLE HEALTH CONCEPT GMBH.

The overall objective of the aluminium test is to determine whether a risk of aluminium absorption exists due to the oral ingestion MEGA NFC® medical10 medical product. Furthermore it should be determined whether due to the adsorptive properties of the MANC® according to HENA® method the products are able to bind and excrete aluminium. In the following, data is presented, which was obtained from in-vitro and in-vivo studies and confirmed the safety or the properties of the aluminum bond by MEGA NFC® medical10.

In-vitro study to determine the adsorption capacity of MANC® according to HENA® method concerning aluminium in a neutral medium. Test: Photometric determination of the aluminium adsorption capacity

Result: The quantitative determination demonstrated that MANC® is able according to HENA® method to bind differing aluminium concentrations at a nearly equal percentage of approximately 90%. The results are reproducible.

6.2.2. Heavy metals – lead and mercury What are heavy metals?

Heavy metals are substances that occur in various compounds which occur in the environmental as natural or industrial products. Some of these heavy metals are essential in small amounts for flora, fauna and humans in small amounts, while others already can have toxic effects in the same concentrations. The path into the environment via the most diverse industrial branches, industrial processing or by natural erosion is diverse.

    What can heavy metals cause?

Increased lead and mercury concentrations in the human body can be the cause of more severe diseases extending to chronic diseases. The symptoms are frequently not associated with exposure to heavy metals and the cause of the illness is not remedied.

Lead Causes of exposure to lead

Lead and lead compounds are found among other things in everyday products as residues or direct processing agents. Examples of polluted systems include:

    Air, water, soil,

    Plants, animals,

    Foods,

medicines, everyday objects and consumer goods

They are thus not only an integral part of the food chain, but have become a general risk factor due to the daily contact we have with them. Lead accumulates in the bone tissue instead of calcium and is therefore only excreted slowly again. (see Federal Institute for Risk Assessment www.bfr.bund.de/de/suche.html, "Heavy metals").

    Symptoms of lead exposure

According to the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment lead causes severe chronic poisoning even in small (mg) doses if the body is exposed to it for weeks or months. It can be absorbed from food, drinking water, through the air by inhalation or through the skin. This can lead to chronic poisoning if it occurs over a longer period of time.

The consequences of this can be:

    kidney damage

    paralysis of the limbs

brain damage, such as epileptic spasms

    damage to the nervous system

    cardiovascular disorders

    still births and sterility

    gastrointestinal problems

Since July 2006, the German Research Foundation rates lead and its inorganic compounds as "carcinogenic in animal tests." Lead poisoning is recognised as an occupational disease by the professional association (BG) code 1101.

    Mercury Causes of mercury exposure

There can be various causes for mercury exposure. It can enter our bodies through various sources. It enters the environment via various industrial branches and is deposited in the soil and water. There it is partly transformed into methylmercury, which accumulates to a large extent in marine organisms. Therefore foods among other things rank among the main contaminants and causes of mercury exposure. Damage to people’s health can also be caused by commodities, such as energy saving lamps, where mercury is absorbed through the lungs when they break. The amalgam used in dentistry is the subject of controversial debate as a further cause of chronic mercury poisoning. In the past vaccines also sometimes contained high levels of mercury compounds.

    Symptoms of mercury exposure

In the event of chronic poisoning mercury is stored in the body. Increased concentrations are then stored in the dentition (jaw, roots, teeth) in the spleen, the kidneys, the spinal cord and the brain as well as the nerve pathways and are only slowly excreted by the kidneys.

Clinical data demonstrating the product safety concerning heavy material exposure starting from its natural storage Natural heavy metal deposits, such as lead and mercury, which are present in virtually every natural zeolite, were also examined. The so-called heavy metals are bound due to the adsorption capacity of MANC® according to HENA® . Despite this proven property a test was performed based on tests of the long-term use of MEGA NFC® medical10 medical products whether the chemically simulated in vitro studies can be confirmed.

Goal: Exclusion of the release and absorption of the natural heavy metal deposition, using a collection of data which prove that the drug MANC® according to HENA® method also does not cause any harmful concentrations of heavy metals in long-term human use and the in-vitro data collated previously is robust.

Action: Performance of a routine examination in the context of the occupational health management of MEGA NFC® medical10, whereby individuals have been considered for the study for whom the daily dose taken of MANC® according to HENA® method did not amount to more than 2 grams over a period of 60 months.

Test: Determining the heavy metal concentration of lead and mercury on 21 test persons by means of a blood test.

Result: The tests revealed a particularly low concentration of lead and mercury in the blood of test persons participating compared to the standard average reference values.

The results show that the users of oral dosage forms of MEGA NFC® medical10 are not exposed to any health burden. The products can be classified as harmless to health and biocompatible for the human organism.

Figure: Examination of concentration of lead in blood of long-term users (men) Assessment From the above data it is apparent that there is a reduction of lead and mercury in the following digestive tract and in the stomach and intestines environment. Accordingly, the vitro results could be transferred to the human body. It was possible to determine by means of in-vivo tests based on the aforementioned blood test that no accumulation of heavy metals arises through the oral use of the medical products.

Benefits - Summary concerning the binding of heavy metal The benefits of this element adsorption result in many ways. Firstly MEGA NFC® medical10 can be taken preventively by the end user of food, cosmetics or consumer goods containing lead to prevent lead intoxication. Secondly the medical products can be used at workplaces that are exposed to lead, for instance in the heavy metal processing industry. Here, the products can be integrated within the company health management system to offer the employee the opportunitity to take actions to maintain good health in terms of a reduction in heavy metal levels. They also include dental practices that are concerned with the removal of amalgam.

6.2.3. MEGA NFC® medical10 basic therapy for ammonium reduction

What is ammonium? Ammonium is a metabolite that is formed during protein degradation. In agriculture, as well, it is being discussed as a pollutant for air, soil and water. It is toxic and may cause acid-base imbalance in the metabolic organs and impaired function of the lungs, liver and kidneys.

    Necessity of absorption of ammonium

Ammonia (NH3) is a colorless gas. When dissolved in water, it forms the toxic ammonium (NH4). This ammonium is normally broken down in the liver via the so-called urea cycle. The main place for the formation of free ammonia is the intestine. In particular, in the large intestine the bacterial action of uncleaved protein ammonia is released and is also absorbed. In intact liver function, rapid uptake and detoxification of this ammonia, which predominantly appears in the portal blood, occurs through the liver.

By liver damage, protein meals lead to so-called ammonia intoxication. The portal blood passes under these conditions, bypassing the liver directly into the large circulation. The toxic effect of ammonia is exerted primarily on the central nervous system (CNS). Ammonia intoxication leads to disorientation and cerebral convulsions and to brain damage.

The digestion (proteolysis) of the protein supplied via food takes place in the gastrointestinal tract. Due to the bacterial action on undigested protein in the intestine, especially in the large intestine, ammonia is released, can be absorbed and reacts by dissolving in water to ammonium. Thus, by bacterial action from 1 g of protein about 0.2 g of ammonia isformed. At the recommended level for the application, it is estimated that about 2.5% of the protein taken by the organism is not completely digested.

The dosage is dependent on the patient's diagnosed ammonium load and should be adjusted accordingly.

6.2.4. MEGA NFC® medical10 example of helicobacter therapy for stomach Helicobacter pylori is a rod-shaped bacterium that can colonize the human stomach. H. pylori infections are thought to be responsible for several stomach diseases. Chronic H. pylori infection is a risk factor for the development of gastric carcinoma. For this reason, the WHO classified H. pylori 1994 as one of defined carcinogens. Helicobacter is the causative agent that causes more deaths in Central Europe than all other infectious diseases combined, including hepatitis, AIDS, typhoid and tuberculosis (Medical Tribune, 43.Jg. No. 28). In Germany, about 33 million people are infected with Helicobacter pylori, of which about 10 to 20% develop a peptic ulcer.

Functional description of Helicobacter therapy: The bacterium latches into the genome of the mucosal cell and then engages in histamine production. The histamine stimulates the formation of acid and thus the germ develops into a histamine problem. This is also the cause of chronic gastritis and can often be the cause of remote disorders via histamine receptors in the body, such as headache or migraine, palpitations, blood pressure fluctuations and even asthmatic complaints. In the stomach, the acid-sensitive Helicobacter pylori protects itself against destruction by gastric acid through the splitting of urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide, whereby ammonia raises the pH in the immediate vicinity of the germ (ammonia shell). This reaction is catalyzed by the enzyme urease produced by Helicobacter pylori, which also serves as a diagnostic test (heliocobacter urease test).

The medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 in powder form, naturally binds ammonia in the stomach and can thus destroy the protective layer of bacteria The results of the below showed therapy proposal results from the positive practical experience of physicians and alternative practitioners in the treatment of patients with the diagnosis "Helicobacter pylori in the stomach".

With MEGA NFC® medical10 in powder form is a medical product, that naturally binds ammonia, that causes difficulties for the stomach to protect itself from stomach acid. With regular intake, for example for the relief of the liver, one thus has a natural possibility to prevent infection of Helicobacter pylori. This absorption behavior was validated by the research laboratory of FROXIMUN AG and NANOBLE HEALHT Concept GmbH for both ammonium and histamine.

Therapy proposal for Helicobacter reduction in the stomach:

6.2.5. MEGA NFC® medical10 example of therapy for reflux disease (heartburn) Heartburn is known by almost everyone, but when several times become regular, a reflux disease could be behind it. Earlier, a diet change or a short-term rich on water diet used to be prescribed.

Today, the use of medication provides rapid therapy. As the patient wants immediate help, without limiting his current lifestyle. Modern pharmacy reacted quickly and offered the so-called acid blockers. A huge market, since almost every second German suffers from this symptomatology. Today, the regular intake of proton pump inhibitor is the standard for therapy. "Proton pump" is the term for those chemical reactions that ultimately lead to the release of protons from certain acid-producing cells into the stomach.

These specific cells are the parietal cells. In the parietal cells, common salt (NaCl), water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) are converted to hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3). The hydrochloric acid is released into the stomach, the sodium bicarbonate finds it way into the blood. Since this process is carried out under a considerable spend of energy, one can also speak of "pumping". If the production of protons is artificially inhibited, it can lead to remote side effects for the patient in other areas.

The sodium bicarbonate gets into the venous blood and under the influence of so-called prostaglandins it is then processed in the secondary cells of the gastric mucosa to become protective mucus (this is also the side effect of many pain medications together, which inhibit the prostaglandins!). Sodium bicarbonate is needed for the work of liver and pancreas. The basic secretions of both organs contain the sodium bicarbonate and thus neutralize the hydrochloric acid coming from the stomach. The parietal cells thus have in a sense a dual function. On one hand, they release hydrochloric acid into the interior of the stomach, on the other hand, they also produce sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) to fight this hydrochloric acid. Sodium bicarbonate is necessary for the pancreas and liver, whose secretions buffer the acidic gastric content in the duodenum and donate digestive enzymes.

The liver also needs sodium bicarbonate as a substrate to detoxify itself from ammonium. Per molecule of ammonium, the same amount of sodium bicarbonate is consumed in the urea cycle. Thus, the rapid improvement in hyperacidity problems in the gastrointestinal tract can be explained when MEGA NFC® medical10 is used.

MEGA NFC® medical10 does not bind stomach acid but relieve ammonia degradation in the liver via the ammonium binding. This saves sodium bicarbonate important to stomach, intestine, pancreas and liver.

    Recommended treatment:

In the morning, about 8.00 am, on an empty stomach, stir in 3x MEGA NFC® medical10 0.2 l water and drink slowly. After one hour chew slowly a few small bites of bread, to increase the production of stomach acid. At 10.00 am repeat the entire process. It is important that nothing extra is eaten or drunk during the therapy. The therapy is interrupted at 12.00 and continued the next morning. The therapy is taken in 3-5 rounds (days), depending on the severity of the disease. It is advisable to follow a light diet for the entire duration of the therapy and to avoid consumption of coffee and alcohol.

If a patient suffers from these symptoms, he can straight forward take a sachet of MEGA NFC® medical10 diluted in 0.2 l of water. Therapeutically for 3 months - one sachet before going to bed. If necessary, another sachet - before the first meal.

6.3. MEGA NFC® medical10 basic therapy for histamine reduction Histamin

Histamine is a neurotransmitter and tissue hormone found in the body, that is involved in immune responses. Allergic reactions, immune response as a defense against foreign substances, are histamine-driven processes. Regulatively, they participate in the gastrointestinal tract, together with other processes in the production of stomach acid. The activity of the central nervous system and the quality of sleep and wakefulness are influenced by histamine.

The occurring in the intestine mast cells form and store among other things the histamine messenger and release it as a defense signal against certain substances. Histamine (aminoethylimidazole) belongs to the biogenic amines and is formed from the amino acid histidine. It occurs in the body next to the mast cells and in the granulocytes in the intestine and blood.

Furthermore, histamine can also be absorbed through food, as it is a breakdown product in ripening or fermentation products, such as cheese, meat and sausage products, fish, fruits, and other.

Causes of increased histamine load (histamine intolerance)

Histamine Intoxication (Histaminose) is caused by a mismatch between supply and degradation of histamine. The body is unable to break down the histamine ingested or released through food. The cause is among other things attributed to a deficiency or disorder of the histamine-degrading enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO), which is responsible for degrading histamine in the small intestine.

    a) Histamine intolerance (histaminosis) means intolerance to ingested histamine. The cause is among others attributed to a deficiency of the histamine degrading enzymes diamine oxidase (DAO). Thus, there is a mismatch between supply and degradation of the histamine.

    b) DAO deficiency. DAO stands for Diaminoxidase and is a copper-containing enzyme, which has the task to reduce excess histamine in the intestinal tract. A malfunctioning DAO can lead to certain health problems. If the DAO is reduced in its function or activity, accumulation of exogenous histamine occurs. If the amount exceeds an individual tolerance threshold, histamine-mediated symptoms are elicited. By patients with diminished DAO activity, even small amounts of histamine can cause discomfort wherever histamine receptors are present (e.g., skin, heart, bronchi, brain, stomach intestine, etc.).

There are several causes for a DAO deficiency: damage of the intestinal cells (enterocytes) due to gastrointestinal diseases (stomach and

intestinal diseases) congenital gene defect (genetic predisposition) Histamine-rich diet as a cause of histamine intolerance Enzyme inhibition (competitive inhibition) of DAO via drugs, alcohol and biogenic amines

    c) Drugs as a possible cause of DAO deficiency and associated histamine load Medications often trigger allergic reactions. However, the cause of drug intolerance is not always due to an allergy. It may also be a histamine breakdown disorder by a DAO blockade, which leads to a histamine blockage. For this reason, the therapist should, in the course of his anamnesis, request the patient's medical history in order to be able to include or exclude the causes in advance. In most cases, diagnosis of the DAO is unendurable, but effective.

Among the drug DAO inhibitors are also those substances that are commonly used to fight histamine intolerance symptoms such as bronchitis, migraine, headache, asthma and heart problems. Approximately

  • 25

20% of the population gets prescribed DAO Blocker by recipe, but many would get those without such, so exact evaluation is not possible.

These include commonly used analgesics such as ASA, diclofenac and metamizol/ novaminsulfone, but also the cough clearer - ACC and ambroxol and cough suppressant - codeine. Gastrointestinal complaints are often treated symptomatically with metoclopamide, a DAO inhibitor, and not to mention: many antibiotics! Especially with the over-the-counter drugs for the so-called everyday complaints, the patient should always pay attention to possible side effects.

Medicaments as potential DAO inhibitors (modified according to Sattler et al., 1985 and Beutling 1996)

    Possible symptoms

By patients with diminished DAO activity, even small amounts of histamine can cause discomfort wherever histamine receptors are present (e.g., skin, heart, bronchi, brain, gastrointestinal, etc.). Symptoms, that histamine can cause:

    Necessity of adsorption of histamine

Particular attention is given to patients already suffering from a chronic or subchronic bowel disease. If the exogenous histamine, which enters the body via food, does not break down fast enough, the symptoms increase.

If the histamine-induced contraction affects the stomach, it reacts with hyperacidity, which often causes gastritis and vomiting. Food intolerances are the result of dyspeptic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract due to insufficient digestion. Often, the body is unable to regenerate by itself and there is a demand for external support system to bring the body to its healthy state. In this case, MEGA NFC® medical10 could be well recommended, because of its good compatibility and strong adsorption capacity for histamine.

Exogenous histamine will be bound, and the already inflamed parts of the affected mucosa will be cured. Thus existing inflammatory processes, especially in the intestine, in which histamine is significantly involved, can be reduced and alleviated. In vitro proof of histamine binding by MEGA NFC® medical10

Test : Photometric determination of the ion exchange capacity. Result : The quantitative determination showed that MEGA NFC® medical10 has an ion exchange

capacity with respect to histamine of more than 80%. The results are reproducible. Evaluation: From this it can be proved, that MEGA NFC® medical10 has a strong affinity and could be

used for the reduction of histamine. Histamine analysis depending on level of concentration and reaction time

Further histamine analysis was carried out at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (FH) in Köthen. Based on recent findings on the role of histamine in chronic diseases, an attempt was made to analyse the adsorption behavior of histamine dihydrochloride on micronized-activated-natural clinopthilolite (MANC®

according to HENA® method). The information and results gained were summarized in a project work.

Result: The base material MANC® according to HENA® process has a strong affinity for histamine and thus is able to bind it. The higher the amount of MANC® in the histamine-loaded system is, the higher is its adsorption capacity. MANC® according to HENA® process, the basic material of the MEGA NFC® medical10, is able to bind histamine and thus supports the enzyme Dia-minoxidase, which is limited in its functionality. It provides relief to the body so that migraine attacks, stomach cramps and vomiting can be alleviated or even avoided.

6.4. Therapy example for food intolerance Food intolerance

Food intolerance refers to spontaneous or delayed reactions to food or its components that occur immediately after ingestion, but also hours to days later. Individually, quite different mechanisms can lead to spontaneous or delayed reactions to food. These are for example through antibodies (allergy) and as a result of the immune reaction via a histamine release mediated. Examples of intolerances: milk (lactose) and cereals (gluten).

Cause: The main cause of the food intolerance is that the protective mechanism of the mucous membrane in the intestine does not work properly (for example, as a result of stress, diet, mental stress, infections, medicines, preservatives, etc.) and uncontrollably leads to immune reaction to large quantities of

  • 27

insufficiently digested food components. The knowledge about this disease is so new that there is not even a German-language name for it. Thus one speaks of the leaky gut or uses the English term: Leaky Gut Syndrome.

Symptoms: It comes to immediate discomfort or chronic inflammation with a variety of symptoms, such as gastrointestinal discomfort, irritated skin conditions (eczema), headaches, migraines, osteoarthritis, chronic fatigue, insomnia, Over or underweight. It is a creeping process that disbalances the digestive and immune systems, and especially when responses are delayed or chronic symptoms have already set in, it is often difficult for the patient and the therapist to identify the cause and effect.

Evidence of the adsorption performance of the medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 with regard to its histamine binding by patients diagnosed with food intolerance (NMU). (Practice Report Dr. E. Walraph)

Test: In vivo tests to detect the histamine concentration in the intestine.

Status: 47 patients had NMUs against 41-50 different foods. All patients had at least an IgG4 value of 5000 ng IgG4 / ml.

Result: By 81% of patients taking MEGA NFC® medical10 capsules, no specific IgG4 antibodies could be detected .

There has been no improvement in patients, who did not take MEGA NFC® medical10 as a comparison group.

Evaluation 1: Due to histamine binding to the igG4-induced inflammatory reaction, the intestinal mucosa was able to regenerate and restore the barrier. .

  • 28

LgG4 reduction without MEGA NFC® medical10 by food intolerances Benefit - Summary of histamine binding

The over-concentration of histamine often cannot be resolved without treatment. Such treatment will result in the regeneration of the digestive system's mucous membrane system. Step by step the patient will be able to return to the normal diet.

Chronic or subchronic inflammation could be alleviated. As a result, digestion processes and the associated protein splitting can again proceed in a normalized manner. Thus, the concentration of the inflammatory mediator histamine plays a crucial role by the over-concentration of digestive gases. The damaged intestinal mucous membrane cannot do its work well enough. Ammonium, as a digestive gas, can be a reaction product of deficient protein breakdown, which in turn burdens the liver.

The benefit for the patient is the efficient relief of the body's own regulation and digestion systems, such as diamine oxidase. Detoxification organs, such as liver, can be sustainably relieved, as the negative substances will be bound and discharged via the digestive tract before entering the bloodstream or enterohepatic circulation.

    > 180 μg / l = osteodystrophy is assumed

    > 200 μg / l in plasma = clinical symptoms of encephalopathy must be considered.

Result: In 6 of 6 IMS patients, the aluminum was removed from the blood cells after application of MEGA NFC® medical10 .

In 10 of 10 ALS patients no aluminum could be detected in the blood after application of MEGA NFC® medical10.

Evaluation: Based on the laboratory results, it has proved, that the use of MEGA NFC® medical10

leads to a reduction in the elevated aluminum level and causes no increase. Thus, it can be assumed that there was no absorption of aluminum by the oral application of MEGA NFC® medical10. This result is of a great benefit, taking into account the controversial toxicology of the element. The process of concentration reduction can be explained based on in vitro studies. Based on the laboratory results, it can be proved that MEGA NFC® medical10 can be successfully used to lower an elevated aluminum level.

    Patient selection

During many years of care, the focus of research was on aluminum diagnostics by patients with neurological diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), multiple sclerosis (MS), pronounced hair loss and immune deficiency syndrome, as those showed an above-average presence of aluminum. In the last 3 years, most of the selected patients have been diagnosed with severe immunodeficiency syndromes (IMS), with significant lymphopenia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Out of 18 patients with ALS, 10 patients had an elevated aluminum value. Out of 19 patients with IMS, 6 patients had an elevated aluminum value.

By these 16 patients with an increased aluminum level, active ingredient MANC® according to HENA® was used as an aluminum level reduction therapy.

    Preanalysis

Preanalysis is of significant importance for determination of heavy metals level. To record the analysis values of heavy metals in blood, fully reliable pre-analysis is required. Otherwise determined values are inapplicable.

    Important:

Too long stagnation before blood taking results in increased values

Posture: Blood taking in a lying position leads to low levels of copper and zinc.

Use of proper monovettes. For determination of metal levels lithium heparin monovettes with cannulas are to be used.

By use of conventional monovettes, traces of metals diffuse into the blood, the results obtained are inapplicable, often too high.

    Selection of examination method

The examining of body fluids, e.g. Blood, is feasible without greater risk to the patient and delivers reliable clinical data, based on the preanalysis. Metal-free systems (Monovettes), preferably with lithium heparin, should be used while taking the blood. The detection of aluminum in the serum is not relevant. If normal blood collection systems are used, the contamination of the generally occurring element in the test tube walls and cannulas leads to false positive values. Even if determination of metals in the blood is more suitable for cases of acute intoxication, it is still possible to draw conclusions on the actual load status of a person, when sufficient diagnosis information is on hand. Aluminum uses the same transport system as iron during enteral absorption and can displace it in the tissues from its functional bonds in enzymes and coenzymes.

Aluminum concentrations in the tissue as well as in the blood can therefore lead to dysregulation of the cellular Fe uptake, since aluminum competes for transferrin binding with iron. Like iron, aluminum is bound to it and thus buffered in a limited, even protracted frame. The excretion of aluminum compounds is then experienced through kidneys through bloodstream as a transport route.

    Selection of determination method

Atomic emission spectrometry (AES), often called optical emission spectrometry (OES), is a method of atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). It is used for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of solid and gaseous specimen. The method is based on the fact that agitated atoms emit an electromagnetic radiation characteristic of the chemical element and thus provide information about the composition of the specimen.

The therapy should continue Recently an increasing number of patients with ALS have been examined and specific immunotherapy (including MEGA NFC® medical10) has been proposed. Unfortunately, immunodiagnostics by these patients is generally done very late or too late. However, surveys of about 60 patients found that they could experience a slowing of the disease development with good compliance. This to a great part corresponds to the results of studies on G9A mutant ALS mice by S.J. Del Signore et al. in Neuroscience in 2007, who have also been treated with MANC® according to HENA®.

7.1. Case observation and therapy concepts for liver relief Applications by acute and chronic liver diseases

The liver, with its important cytochrome-dependent metabolism and excretion by coupling to glucuronic acid, represents the bottleneck in many disease processes, which creates limitations for the recovery of the body's own control mechanisms.

In any event, thanks to this method aluminum could be removed from the blood cells.

By the diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis with detected aluminum concentration Therapy (when possible) as above but increased to 2 x 1 sachet MEGA NFC® medical10 in the morning and in the evening. Instead of capsules, powder form of the medicine should be prescribed, as the oral intake of capsules is very difficult or not feasible by this disease. The content of sachet is to be dissolved in water or added to food.

Therefore, the active or passive support of the liver function by the forced removal of processed or unprocessed substances plays a key role. Due to the effective adsorption of potentially toxic metabolites (especially ammonia) and excessive endogenous metabolites, tribomechanically activated zeolite makes an important contribution to the re-establishment of cellular regular state. In case of severe dysfunctions of the liver such as advanced cirrhosis or hepatic metastasis or a primary hepatocellular carcinoma, the need for relief of the enzymatic pathways is particularly high. The reduction in pre-burden (ammonia burden) as well as the after-burden of substances, observed both in vitro and in vivo, had a decisively positive effect. In the course of chronic or acute liver disease, blood ammonia may be the limiting factor for survival. The increase in the level due to insufficient degradation caused by structural damage, lack of energy or metabolite congestion ultimately causes autointoxication, which leads to the coma hepaticum. Traditional treatments, (e.g. Hepa-Merz®), bring some relief, but have a decisive disadvantage: only the metabolic processes are truncated, while the ammonia in the blood is not directly affected. It is the important domain for MEGA NFC® medical10, which binding capacity for ammonia is unprecedented. By physiological excretion, the metabolite overload is defused, and the liver is actually relieved.

Essential liver relief by increased drug consumption

The diagnosis of a diseased liver is becoming increasingly important. The liver as a central metabolism, detoxification and storage organ is also enormously important for the metabolisation (degradation, metabolism) of medicaments. Its performance is particularly crucial for drugs that have a high FirstPass effect. The first-pass effect or the effect of the first passage describes the conversion of a drug during its first pass through the liver. This means that these drugs are already partially degraded after ingestion in the liver before they enter the bloodstream. This fact is already considered when the dosage is assigned!

When the liver does not always work with the same speed and power, it can also lead to an increase in the drug concentration in the blood and cause increased side effects.

To minimize the side effects of medicines by normal regular dosages, concomitant liver therapy is highly recommended. The liver carries the burden of our «healthy diet» and is already running at full speed by normal metabolism. When it gets help through ammonium being bound in the intestine, it will need less effort for the urea cycle and can better compensate for burdening. The kidneys can certainly benefit from this as well.

By relieving the urea cycle, the body also saves bicarbonate, an important buffer substance and gastric mucosal protector, preventing the overproduction of gastric acidity.

    Example from daily practice:

Antidepressants, such as Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors often lead to side effects, such as nausea and headache. Fatal is when such are being treated by painkillers, which in their turn have side effects mainly in stomach and intestine. Also, certain anti-nausea medicines as well as triptans – medicaments used to treat migraine and even harmless cough suppressants, which are often part of the popular anti-cold remedies, have direct side effect on serotonin related processes in the brain. Increased sweating, hot flashes, blood pressure fluctuations and nausea symptoms will then often be the case. Often the connection is not discovered. Here is an example of how quickly risks can arise under a drug therapy. There are numerous interactions especially by cardiovascular medicaments, many of which have direct connection to the process of drug degrading in the liver. Because the compatibility of a drug is always dependent on the liver performance. If the drug-degrading enzymes of the liver (cytochrome P450) are used to capacity, this will inevitably lead to new complains or side effects at some point in time. Not to mention the daily metabolic tasks of the liver and hidden burdens in our food and the environment, which already preoccupy our internal chemical plant.

The medical product MEGA NFC® medical10 for body detoxification in powder form binds ammonium and other substances in the digestive tract, so that the liver is relieved and increased concentrations in the blood can decrease.

    Daten aus der Praxis

Dr. med. Andreas Scheler from Travemünde observed in his practice 11 patients with liver damage, manifested by high gamma GT values and treated with the active ingredient of MEGA NFC® medical10. The dosage was 6 capsules daily.

The documented cases clearly show the improvement of the laboratory values. Above all, an improvement in the gamma GT value is noticeable, which confirms the conclusion on the good absorption capacity of HENA® activated zeolite in the digestive tract.

The gamma-GT values of the patients examined, spread between 42 and 83 U / l before treatment with a mean of 61.18 U / l, a variance of 226.76 and a standard deviation of 15.06. After treatment, the gamma GT values scattered between 28 and 65 U / L with a mean of 44.91 U / L, a variance of 139.69, and a standard deviation of 11.82. The mean change after treatment was 16.27 U / L with a variance of 62.02 and a standard deviation of 7.88. The mean reduction was 26.60% and spread between 16.67 and 46.05%. Note: the age of the patients was between 50 and 80 years, with the reference period of examination and treatment being 30 to 60 days. Gamma-GT Werte (U/I) von 11 Leberpatienten, Andreas Scheler

Evidence of the adsorption performance of active ingredient MEGA NFC® medical10 in vivo on examples of liver relief (HP K.O. Fischer Bremen Stuhr Brinkum)

Disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract regularly result in an additional burden on the liver. Since the MEGA NFC® medical10 acts exclusively in the gastrointestinal tract, the effect on the discharge of the liver is only indirectly measurable through the binding of ammonium. For measurement, therapists and physicians primarily use the gamma GT value. Another measuring methodology for determining the sustainable effect of MANC® according to the HENA® method on the ammonium balance is the recognized bioelectronic terrain analysis (BE-T-A) according to Prof. Vincent.

Test: Measurement of the redox potential as a sign of stress on the pancreas and liver using Bio-Electrical Terrain Analysis according to Prof. Vincent (BE-T-A) to 30 persons before and after taking MEGA NFC® medical10

Limits: The normal range of the rH2 value is between 20 and 24.

Evaluation: By the treated patients both subjective and objective symptoms of putrefactive dyspepsia

were present, which is evidence of disturbed protein digestion with formation of ammonia or ammonium compounds and subsequent re-poisoning via the enterohepatic circulation. Through the use of MEGA NFC® medical10, the measured values could be settled due to binding and discharging of ammonium into the normal range and thus lead to liver relief.

Type of resistance before and after taking MEGA NFC® medical10

Test: Measurement of the electrical resistance R as a sign of lack of enzyme activity with consequence of inflammatory processes of the liver by means of bio-electrical terrain analysis according to Prof. Vincent (BE-T-A) to 30 persons before and after taking MEGA NFC® medical10.

Limits: The normal range of the resistance is between 180 – 200 Ω/cm2.

Evaluation: Increased levels of resistance indicate enzyme deficiency or diminished enzyme activity due to milieu shift. Lower values below the normal range indicate inflammatory processes of the liver or pancreas. The average reduction was 41.63 Ω/cm2, which means it returned to normal range.

Documented case observations on control of Gamma GT and GOT values (Doctor A. Scheler Switzerland, Dr. N. Daskaloff Berlin)

Gamma-GT (gamma-glutamyl transferase) is an enzyme found in all organs of the body. To determine the gamma GT level blood serum is examined. Increased serum concentrations usually indicate liver damage or damage of the biliary tract. The Gamma GT is the most sensitive parameter for determining liver damage. For minor injuries, it is sometimes the only indication in the blood.

Inter alia, diseases such as hepatitis (liver inflammation), fatty liver, liver cancer and dyspepsia lead to elevated gamma GT values. The determination of the gamma-GT values is possible via a standardized laboratory examination of the blood serum. When determined in a time series, the gamma GT is a useful tool for control and follow-up of therapy efficiency. The results of the following evaluations show the positive influence of active ingredient of MEGA NFC® medical10 on the gamma GT values in the documented patient groups. This was confirmed in the research report of Andreas Scheler, specialist in general medicine and naturopathy, and Dr. med. N. Daskaloff, doctor of surgery.

    7.2. Oxidative stress

In vitro and in vivo data on the efficacy of MEGA NFC® medical10 On one hand, oxidative metabolism is a very efficient way of energy supply, on the other hand it is associated with the formation of free oxygen radicals, which damage cell membranes and other biological structures (lipids, proteins, DNA, ...). Oxidative stress is also associated with cell aging.

In the human body, there is a number of sophisticated, antioxidant protection systems that are used to handle the reactive oxygen species: Certain enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSHPx, selenium-dependent), catalase and vitamins or precursors to vitamins such as tocopherol, carotenoids, ascorbic acid and some other systems have taken on this vital task.

Free radicals are particles with unpaired, free electron, making them unstable, short-life and highly reactive. The group of ROS also includes some non-radical oxidants (such as hydrogen peroxide).

Oxidative stress means a preponderance of free oxygen radicals (ROS) compared to the antioxidant protection mechanisms available.

This imbalance sets in motion pathomechanisms associated with a variety of diseases: e.g.

    • Arteriosclerosis> Myocardial Infarction> Stroke • Neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease) • Diseases of the rheumatic type • Malignant tumors
