1/3 PRESS RELEASE December 2014 New from WAGNER: Stroke sensor for FlexControl Smart Perfect mixing results even with abrasive materials With the 2-K mixing and dosing system FlexControl Smart, WAGNER already provides a highly-efficient solution for liquid coating applications – the individually configurable basic version permits maximum mixing accuracy and fast recipe changes whilst at the same time providing high levels of user-friendliness and money-saving use of materials. Permanently consistent mixing ratios within narrowest tolerances As the only multi-color 2-K system on the market, the FlexControl Smart has now been extended by the stroke sensor measuring system, which undertakes the indirect, contactless measurement of the material flow. In contrast to other measuring systems such as the gear flow meter, the stroke sensor features, in particular when using abrasive or metallic paints, unbeatable advantages: because there is no direct contact with the material, the stroke sensor is not subject to wear, and this guarantees permanently accurate mixing ratios within the narrowest tolerances. The stroke sensor is also generally usable even after a material change. This measuring system also provides maximum mixing accuracy for applications in which the gun(s) are often opened and closed, as there is no slip or settling time at the start of material flow. Consistent mixing ratios Using the innovative stroke sensor by WAGNER, the high efficiency of the FlexControl Smart can be further increased, which permits a permanently high mixing quality independent of the material used.
