    Dont ever ask children to do nothing. Whenchildren arent sure what they are supposed to be doingor they are waiting for you to tell them what to do, they

    will come up with something to do, and in most cases,this will be something you dont particularly want themto do.

    Remember;

    1. Effective classroom management is not aboutrewards and punishments. The key to effectiveclassroom management is keeping students actively

    in the entire lesson.

    2. Teachers are like salesmen. If students dislike youand your product, they will not buy from you.

    3. When students experience success, they raise their

    goals; after failure, they lower them. Success buildsones self-esteem. A wise teacher must accentuatethe positive.

    4. When you show students that you confidentlyexpect them to do well, you raise their aspiration

    levels and self-esteem.

    5. But students must understand that if theymisbehave or neglect their work, they must sufferthe consequence. Misbehavior deserves disciplinarymeasures.
