UPDATES AS OF APRIL 2, 2015 - - BRIEF SUMMARY:• Based On Some further replies and also sizing up the growing shortage of Lodging Accommodations for 15 rooms in early

June, I am following the suggestion of a few Brother's replies to consider sliding the Reunion date to early Fall instead ofJune. This would give everyone a little more time to save a calendar date that would work, and thus, ideally, add to our turnout. I'm inclined to accept those requests and re-set the planned date from early June to a 5 day Reunion somewhere within the 2 week time window of Sept 25th to Oct 9th. Pls let me know your availability within that window.

• I've also added a Group of about 14 Hotels within about a 25 minute drive of Wash DC itself. This includes one place in the Georgetown area of the Capitol. As might be expected it would run about $100. per night more than in the suburban areas, which many might find more palatable. My inclination is to make a group reservation (including access to the hotel Meeting Room) for about 15 rooms and to do this by April 15th. These preliminary selections are listed in section C. of this note.

• I've also included both (1) a specific list of sight seeing attractions in both Wash. DC itself and in the surrounding urbanand countryside locales , and (2) A list of Group Meeting formats/topics which would allow both informal Breakfast and Dinner meetings, plus all attendee Meetings formatted to allow each brother a 3-4 minute talk on several topics to be finalized by 6 weeks prior to the Reunion. These are summarized in section E. of this note.

B. WHEN

As noted in Slide #2, previously, we had been tallying replies for an early June Reunion. But, further inputs have now persuaded me to a later date to open up more options for Brothers and for lodging accommodations. Moreover, In calling a number of Hotels to discuss our plan, I find a high likelihood that inclusion of a week-end would be advantageous, as weekend prices seem to be nicely discounted. So I'm recommending a selection between the 3 slots noted above. Thus we're now seeking a 5 night / 6 day (i.e. arrive day 1, depart on day 6) Reunion slot in this time period:

In your reply, please note all of the above slots which would work for you.

C. WHERE: WASH DC AREA - - LODGING ACCOMODATIONS

The map on the next chart illustrates the area surrounding Wash. DC and the area that I've looked at for both LODGING ACCOMODATIONS and THINGS TO SEE & DO. There seems to be plenty of both, particularly if the accommodations can be made reasonably in advance of the stay planned. OUR TENTATIVE PLAN INCLUDES STAYS AT EITHER 1 or 2 LODGINGS, depending on everyone's preference; for example, we could choose: Manassas and Annapolis. This might make it easier to take in some of the interest areas. Of course, a single Lodging may just be simpler. Your thoughts?

Although Helene & I have been to the Wash DC area a number of times, the present planning activity helped develop some further thoughts about this rather historic and lovely area. So these are some of the activities I hope we can "roll into" the mix:

• WASHINGTON DC HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND MUSEUMS• MANY PERIPHERAL AREAS OF HISTORIC & SCENIC NOTE• ENTERTAINMENT ATTRACTIONS - - INCLUDING MUSIC, THEATER, POLITICS and more.• EXERCISE ASPECTS INCLUDING INTERESTING WALKS, GOLF, MAJOR PARKS etc.

So, 5 days may seem like a long time, but in relation to interest areas - - I think it won't be any difficulty at all to satisfy many diverse interests both as a total group and as separate, smaller groups; and that is to be part of the plan. In fact, for those who live a fair distance from the area, some further time for individual explorations, apart from the Reunion, might be attractive also.

C. WHERE: WASH DC AREA - approx. 40 x 30 mile "red rectangle"

Scale: 5 miles=

C. WHERE: WASH DC AREA - LODGINGS: Annapolis, MD & Rockville, VA

C. WHERE: WASH DC AREA - LODGINGS: Waldorf, VA; Silver Spring, MD.

C. WHERE: WASH DC AREA - Georgetown, DC

C. WHERE: WASH DC AREA - LODGINGS: MY PROPOSAL AND A LITTLE MORE INFO

Left to my own devices, I'd probably select 1 (or 2) hotels from the Lodgings just noted in the last 5 charts. Based on my calls to date, if I make a GROUP reservation, many hotels will offer a reduced price to all (perhaps 15%) as part of a "Group discount rate". The process would likely be: I start the group reservation, get some kind of a code that I will send to all who will be attending. I will include the name(s) & Ph. #(s) of the hotel(s) , so you can each call in and (i) confirm you are part of the Group and also provide a charge card for hotel billing.

I will also assure that the Hotel we select will provide us a Meeting Room to hold the 25 -40 folks or so who I hope will attend for both a morning and evening Group Meeting for our "Forums" (see chart # 13).

My inclinations would likely be selected from (if accommodations are available):

• Hilton Doubletree Annapolis, MD• Hampton Inn or Hilton Springfield, Springfield, VA• Holiday Inn Battlefield, Manassas, VA

But I'd certainly like to get any suggestions you'd care to make

D. WHO *

Here's a summary of: (i) those with whom I made contact in the earlier correspondence for this year 2015 Reunion, and (ii) those with whom I didn't make contact. • For those in the 1st category: I hope this date change will not cause an issue for those who were able to attend for the June

schedule. And I further hope that this will help those who had conflicts with the earlier date but may be OK with the proposed Sept-Oct date.

• For those for whom I didn't make contact (category (ii) ), I'd like to inquire if any of you who receive this, may have phone or email info for any Brothers listed and/or any that are not even on this list.

* Of course, all invites include Spouse or Significant Other.

E. WHAT - AREA ATTRACTIONS - - Just a few preliminary thoughts - OTHER ADDS?

I. DC AREAS OF INTERESTThese would likely be separated into small Groups of those

interested in a specific # of visit sites for any given day. Prior to the Reunion we could have a list of such sites, grouped by day - - so everyone might more easily coordinate their choices.

Some early site possibilities are included on the next chart as examples. But we can certainly add more possibilities based on all offered recommendations.

II. GROUP DISCUSSIONSThis would likely be a morning discussion (AM) and an afternoon discussion (PM) - both timed to allow small group sightseeing during the mid -day but starting and concluding each day at our selected lodging. Timing would be set to enable travel to see the mid-day attractions AFTER the morning rush hour and BEFORE the evening rush hour. Something like this:

8:00 -10:00am Breakfast + AM Discussions

10:00am -3:00pm

Various SIGHT SEEING including lunch

6:00pm -10:00pm

Dinner + PM Discussions
