PI SHEETIn General there are two types of PI sheets in Normal SAP

1. ABAP based PI sheets2. Browser based PI sheets

  We shall concentrate on the later version that is browser based PI sheets 

1.Configuration Requirements

i.O23c-Transport Predefined characteristics, to transfer process instruction characteristics or process message characteristics from the SAP reference client (000) to your client.

ii.O22c-Transport Predefined Message Categories – to transfer or copy all the process message characteristics from the SAP plant to your plant; when you carry out this configuration, you need to enter the plant and press execute button and then press the copy button in the next screen to copy the process messages.

iii.CO60_VM-transport the display variants for PI Sheets predefined by SAP from the SAP reference client to your logon client. Press the save button while exiting.

2.Control Recipes and Control Recipe Destinations

Control recipes are used to transfer the control data defined in the process order bythe user to the process control. The control data like process instructionsassigned to the phase are transferred to their respective destinations assignedin the phase.

Control Recipe Destinations:  SAP standard has Four types of recipe destinations defined 

1. Transfer to ABAP list based PI sheet2. Download to ext. system, initiated by

SAP process management

3. Download to ext. system, initiated byext. process control

4. Transfer to browser-based PI sheet

6. Releasing Control RecipesCreate process order first ( TCODE-COR1 )

RELEASE THE ORDER

once you release the order the ‘Generate Control Recipe’ indicatorgets enabled, click on this indicator to release the recipes and save the order.

Upon successful release of control recipes go to T code CO53 to convert the recipes to PI sheetsIn the initial screen enter the order number and press ‘display’

Now go to T code CO60 and open the PI sheet which has been generated for this orderHere enter the plant, order number and execute(F8)
