RE Educating professional and respectful collaborative
artists who are:
Humble-Open-Teachable (HOT)
Willing to listen and receive criticism
Understand that attending HSPVA is a privilege
requiring hard work and dedication—Getting in is
just the beginning not the end
Honest and Trustworthy
Respect themselves and others
Care about their campus and community
We are refocusing our efforts to consistently remind
students of the expectations that we have for them
so that they leave our campus ready to face any
challenge. We need your help and support in
reinforcing these ideals as partners in your child’s
education.

NC
ER
NS In order to
develop the
most productive
working
relationships at
HSPVA, we ask
that parents and
students follow
these steps when
addressing
classroom
concerns
1. The student initiates a
conversation with the teacher to
try to address the concern
independently.
2. If the issue is not resolved, the
parent contacts the teacher
directly to develop a plan to
address the problem.
3. If the parent and teacher plan
fails to achieve the desired result,
the parent should then contact
the counselor to arrange a
meeting with the AP, counselor,
student and teacher to address
the concern.
