P-BOX ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONSPlease remember that the use of Stainless steel screws or parts assembled with alu parts is subject to a corrosion and oxidizing process, especially if used in salt water. So if you leave your hydrofoil parts assembled you will have a high risk of breakage of the components or you will not be able to disassemble it any longer. We highly recommend to use TEF-GEL (www.tefgel.com) before each use and assembling of any parts, and to remove the screws and rinse any of the assembling parts with fresh water after each use.

1. Connect the mast to the plate. Tighten the 2 X 8mm diameter x 60mm long screws to secure the plate to the mast and make sure that they are tightened properly.

IN ORDER TO ASSEMBLE YOUR NEW P-BOX HEADCORRECTLY PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

2. Place the P-BOX head on top of the plate and tighten the 2 x 6 mm diameter x14mm long screws to secure the P-BOX head to the plate. Make sure that the screws are firmly tightened.

3. The WH FLIGHT ALU 85 with P-BOX head is ready and can be fixed to the board using the 8mm diameter X 100mm long stainless steel screw. Since the hole diameter of the powerbox inside the board recess is usually of a 6,5mm diameter, you need to manually widen up this hole to fit the 8mm diameter screw.Take a round file of 6mm up to 8mm thickness and manually widen the hole of the Powerbox inside the board by moving it up and down. As soon as you reach the correct diameter (8mm) of the Powerbox hole, the board is ready to be fixed with the Powerbox head kit using the stainless steel screw provided with a stainless steel washer. You can still use the standard 6mm screw with a normal windsurfing powerbox fin without any risks of unexpected movement or breaking of the finbox.

4. Turn your board with the hull facing upwards and insert the hydrofoil head into the finbox slot. Make sure the finbox is clean from sand or any other debris that might cause friction in inserting the P-BOX head in the box. Push the P-BOX head all the way down into the finbox slot to allow the plate to adhere perfectly to the hull of the board.Please use extra care when inserting or removing it from the board. This is the moment when you can really damage your board.

5. Take the board with the relative hydrofoil inserted inside the box and place it on its side. Insert the stainless steel screws (8mm x 100 mm) and washer inside the box hole and firmly screw the P-BOX head to the board. Make sure the mast and plate have a very tight fit to the board finbox and that the plate is perfectly adherent to the hull of the board.
