The customer is king

Power units are everyday items, but hardly anyone knows the technical specifications of these commonplace products. Anyone who wants to replace a lost or defective power unit is faced with a difficult choice. The dealers' shelves are full of countless models with a multitude of different plugs. The new Vivancopower unit range, therefore follows a completely new logic, which starts with the APPLICATION of theproduct. The range is divided into 4 DEVICE CLASSES:

Small electronic devices: portable audio devices such as radios, Discman, Walkman, and active loudspeakers as well as pocket calculators, Babyfones, kitchen scalesMP3 players, including iPods & iPhones / mobile phones: these are now usually equipped withan USB connection / Agreement on Micro USB standard for mobile phones Cameras / portable navigation devicesPortable computers: laptops, netbooks

In addition, the power units are classified according to WHERE THEY ARE USED:

For the sake of the environment

The new Vivanco power units comply with the latest EU standards and directives (Eco-Design Directive for EuP = Energy using Products). For power units, this means a significant reduction in standby consumption to below 0.3 Watt and a considerable increase in efficiency. For example, while conventinal power units convert 50% of the energy into waste heat, the energy losses for the new generation of products are only about 20%.

Packaging

The newly developed packaging is a great help for finding the right product. The colour coding system and the symbols used enable rapid orientation on the shelf and facilitate the customer's decision to buy.
