Who would be the audience for

your media product?

My target audience for my pop music magazine would be teenage white girls. I chose this typeOf audience because the music industry has much larger percentage of readers that are girl To boys as well as you can draw girl in with a combination of music fashion and others.

I compared my ‘Ability’ magazine to a real magazine ‘Blender’ as the two magazines are Similar in such ways. For example both dominant images are covering the title of the magazineTo show that the big story is the artist on the front cover and it also indicates a hint as to what the featuring of the magazine would be such as Leona Lewis for ‘Blender’ and Aimée Thompson forMy own magazine front cover.

I am targeting British white teenage females.

I decided that my target Audience would be this Type as many other Magazines have a similar Target audience to the audience I chose.

I chose this audience asAlthough many magazines Do have this target audienceIt is a very successful audience.

Magazines such as ‘Q’ or ‘Blender’ have similar targetAudiences such as my own.

Although I may have more Competition because of my Target audience I think my Magazine slots nicely into Other magazines.

In a Way it is similar in style and Layout, As this is my first time Producing a magazine I think It works well as a pop magazine;Of the outfits and fonts and colours Used.
