Solar Frontier developed the exclusive smart CIS Turbo inverter specially for the PowerSets. It is harmonised to the entire system in an optimum manner, and is used ex-clusively in the PowerSets. It exploits the highest yields from the PowerModules as a result of its world-class efficiency and the use of a voltage range that is perfectlysuited to the CIS technology.

In addition, the smart turbo technology provides extra yield as a result of its power reserve and the integrated energy management function*, by using the peak pow-er of the system in an optimum manner, without prema-ture capping. Moreover, the Turbo PowerSets are ready to connect to a wide range of storage systems to additionally increase the rate for private consumption and to thus reduce the power costs.

We originally started with the so-called PowerSet as the pioneers in the development of complete systems for residential roofs. In order to meet various customer requirements, we have now extended our range and we are the only manufacturer to offer a comprehensive portfolio of systems. The original PowerSet retains all of its previous properties, but it now bears the name PowerSet Turbo. This is supplemented by the PowerSet Mini and the PowerSet Maxi.

The PowerSet product range consists of easy-to- install pre-configured complete systems, based on the innovative CIS technology. The powerful modules offer the highest yields, even under the toughest conditions. Perfectly coordinated components of reli-able high quality ensure quick and correct installation as well as safe operation. Thanks to their high flexibility, the PowerSets are suitable for nearly all roofs, for all roof orientations and inclinations.

The PowerSet Maxi has been specially adapted, in configuration and size, to the requirements of large complex roofs and offers the greatest lev-el of flexibility: for example, roofs having differ-ent inclinations and alignments can be accom-modated and the systems can be installed easily. This flexibility is provided by the second MPP tracker* of the PIKO inverter that permits the con- figuration of roofs with mixed inclinations and orientations and thus provides maximum yield. The allocation of any number of modules to the roof is also facilitated by the wide voltage ranges of the inverters in combination with the two MPP trackers.

In addition, the PIKO inverters can be installed both in-doors and outdoors, and thus offer even more flexibility in installation. The PowerSet Maxi is ready to connect to a wide range of storage systems – just like the PowerSet Turbo.

* The MPP Tracker (Maximum Power Point Tracking) ensures continuously that the power of the modules combined into strings is always adapted to the individual radiation and temperature conditions in an optimum manner.

The configuration and size of the PowerSet Mini are specially adapted to the requirements of small roofs. For example, the use of a smart CIS Turbo “Mini” inverter with its compact electrical construction. In this way, the PowerSet Mini meets the requirements of small roofs in an optimum manner: High yield levels at an attractive price. Here again, in the PowerSet Mini, the inverter generates extra yields by using the benefits of turbo technology. This means that the efficiency and voltage range are perfectly matched to the CIS technology and thus ex-ploit the maximum yields from the PowerModules.

Simple and rapid installation is facilitated by the PowerSet Mini not only by the small number of modules, but also by the CIS Turbo “Mini” inverter which is particu-larly easy to install as a result of its weight of just 8.3 kg.
