SYSTEM

The entire grinding-classifying system is

pressure-shock-proof to 11 bar overpressure

and is ATEX-certified. In the event of a dust

explosion, the installed explosion venting

valves prevent the pressure wave and flame

front from propagating to the environment.

Together with the split-body-design cyclone,

the Mikro ACM EC (Easy Clean) classifier

mill has a minimum space requirement that

permits a compact set-up. It is suitable for

either cyclone or classifier operation. The

cyclone is mounted on a turntable, thus

allowing an effortless and quick change

between both operating modes by simply

switching the product pipe from classifier

to cyclone. The screening and packaging

unit is also mobile and can be wheeled into

position.

PROCESS

The product (chips) is supplied to the

feed station from a container or direct

from the extruder. A rotary valve meters

the feed material via an injector into the

conveying air stream. The air needed for

the grinding process is prepared to suit the

process requirements by an air conditioner

comprising a filter, cooler and drop collector.

The intake air is usually cooled to < 15°C

to ensure a cool and gentle size reduction

process.

operating parameters for you, and in the

case of new systems, the optimum system

size. We deliver complete turnkey systems

to include installation, commissioning and

personnel training. Our after-sales service

guarantees optimum support and technical

necessary parts over the entire lifetime of

your system.
