SAMARA CIVIC NETWORK AIM:To increase the level of cooperation within the non-commercial public sector and to provide its cooperation with governmental and commercial sectors on the basis of modern means of information organization and dissemination

OBJECTIVES:To provide Internet and e-mail access to Samara Region NGO
(non profit organization) leaders, members and clients in order to
develop interregional and international relations among
NGO
Ability to increase the effectiveness of NGO activities via partnership development through joint programs and
projects realization together with governmental, municipal and
commercial structures
To provide the access to wide and various information on Samara Region, its history,
economy, culture, non-profit sector and other civic society institutions to all interested
people

INFORMATION SPACE—the sphere in modern public life (in our case Samara Region third sector) which depends to a great degree on information communications development. In this meaning information space is close to the meaning of information
INFORMATION ENVIRONMENT- a combination of technical and program
means of keeping, processing and distribution of information as well as
political, economic and cultural conditions of the informing processes realization

COMPONENTS OF INFORMATION SPACE:
· Information resources, that include data, information and knowledge fixed on certain information carriers
· Organizational structures, providing functioning and development of information space, including information collecting, processing, preservation, dissemination, search and transmitting
• Means of information interaction, providing access to information resources on the basis of corresponding information technologies, including software and technical means and organization—normative documents
