LTIET for Rajkot zone wherein the students from all colleges

Farewell and fresher`s event together
cal led "Fresh Well" on 11th,
September 2016. Farewell was given
to the out-going batch and a warm
welcome to all the new members into
Gardi family.
All students were welcomed with spray
and smileys. Then they came into the
decorated CC Hall full of greenery &
lighting lamps along with smiley on
their cloth as well as on face. Dazzling
decoration of hall having Jungle
theme, in which they used eco friendly
means for decoration by real flowers
and tree leaf. Was done by Hiral
Nimavat & team from M.B.A Sem 3rd
& I-M.B.A Sem 3rd & Sem 5th. All
students seemed so much happy due
to such amazing & warm welcome.
The event had been divided
into two part first part was
for farewell & second part
was for fresher`s.

Rajkot had organized Teacher`s Day event on 5th,
September 2016. Students have shown their gratitude S& appreciated contribution of their mentors.
All Faculty members were warmly welcomed in Mini CC Hall.
All Faculty members were seemed so much happy due to
such amazing & warm welcome.
Awesome anchoring was done by Joshi Anandi (Student of I-
M.B.A Sem 5th) & Poojara Vishva (Student of M.B.A Sem
3rd) followed by inspirational Speech by our Honourable
Director Dr. Vishal Soni sir then after funny Skit by Students
of M.B.A Sem 1st all enjoyed the skit.
Then after there i s a game in which faculties have to take a
chit and whose name came that student came on the stage
and do the mimicry of any faculty member or give speech or
any views he or she wants to share with all. it was a fun with
gratitude sharing game.
Then after there was motivational speech by all the faculty
members. Our Honourable Director Dr. Vishal Soni sir did
the mimicry of one of their faculty it was amazing. Assi. Prof.
Viral Raval did the mimicry of Saif Ali khan it was so funny.
Assi. Prof. Nilesh Ankleshwariya did the stand up comedy on
various voices of animals on the demand of students all
faculty members have fulfil the wishes of students.

role in the development of Cany nation. It represents a
set of shared attitudes, values, goals
and practices. Culture and creativity
manifest themselves in almost all
economic, social and other
activities. A country as diverse as
India is symbolized by the plurality of
its culture.
India has one of the world's largest
collections of songs, music, dance,
theater, folk traditions, performing
arts, rites and rituals, paintings and
writings that are known, as the
'Intangible Cultural Heritage' (ICH)
of
humanity. In order to preserve these
elements, the Ministry of Culture
implements a number of schemes
and programs aimed at providing
financial support to individuals,
groups and cultural organizations
engaged in performing, visual and
literary arts etc. SPICMACAY is one
of the NGO working for the Indian
C u l t u r a l H e r i t a g e . D r .
MukeshKeshvani and Mrs. Kiran
Shah took the initiative to promote
this NGO in BHGCEIT.
The introductory consultation was
organized in BHGCEIT. Mr. Niraj

Presentation Session….. Made the audience spell bound.
The Questions of the Art Club were welcomed….
Mr. Mayur Joshi good-naturedly answered the youth.
Dave and Mr. Mayur Joshi, chapter coordinators and senior volunteers spared their
valuable time to explain what SPIC MACAY is about to the students of Bridge Course.
Mr. C. D. Parmar accepted the invitation and attained the session agreeably. The
students of Art club also participated very enthusiastically. The CC was house pack.
The session was presented by Mr. Niraj Dave initially explaining about the logo of the
SPIC MACAY. Students found it
interesting and later on the
presentation hold the interest of the
students. Along with the knowledge
of cultural heritage shared by the
experts in between few questions
related to GK and engineering made
the students interactive throughout
the session.
Later on one project was assigned to
the students of Bridge course to
make a PPT on the heritage of Rajkot
and submit to Mrs. Kiran Shah. Mrs.
Shah encouraged the students to
submit the project for which she will
be providing internal marks for their
first semester exam. This gesture
encouraged the students to become
more interactive with the experts. It
was well explained by Mr. Mayur
Joshi that although if a person is not
interested in art and cultural, can
develop himself with the various
sk i l l s . l i ke communicat ion ,
teamwork, analytical, problem
solving and managerial skills.
The session was concluded with the
question answer session where
students shown their interest in the
joining the SPIC MACAY as a
volunteer which in turn was a
positive feedback. Various students
enquired about many different art
forms and solved their queries.The
positive feedback of the students
showed their eagerness for the
upcoming events of the SPIC
MACAY.

Trip at And Udaipur Mount AbuFUN TRIP
he Department of Electrical
Engineering had arranged a
trip to Abu, Haldighati and TUdaipur from 16th Sept to 18th Sept
2016 for the 7th sem students. The
main objective of this trip was to
explore the historical places of
medieval INDIA and get refreshed at
one of the most exotic and beautiful
hill stations of western INDIA. The trip
began when the students arrived at the
Abu hill on 16th Sep 2016. Here, the
studentsvisited the "Headquarter of
Brahmakumari", "Gurusikhar",
"Achaleshwar Mahadev", "Nakki
Lake" and "Sunset point". On next
day,17th Sep. students visited
Haldighati, where they got the
information regarding the life of one of
the greatest Rajput warrior of
Rajputana, "THE MAHARANA
PRATAP OF MEWAR" students also
got the information regarding the
struggle of the INDIAN HINDU
KINGS against the MIGHTY
MUGHALS. The trip was further
continued when they arrived at
Udaipur here they enjoyed the rest of
the day exploring the historical town
by watching the traditional puppet
show and culture of Rajasthan at
"Lokkala Kendra -
U d a i p u r " . T h e
s t u d e n t s t h e n
visited "Saheliyon
ki bari" which was
built by Maharana
Bhopal Singh as
remembrance for a
group of 48 young
women attendants
who accompanied a
princess of Udaipur
as part of her dowry.
Next day students visited the "Lake
Pichola", here they had a wonderful
time experiencing the nature's beauty
through boating in the lake. Further
they visited the city palace of Udaipur
which was built by Maharana Udaisinh
II of mewar in 16th century A.D.In city
palace students saw the armory of the
Maharana Pratap and got familiar with
City Palace-Udaipur

requirement and technologies which are used for
canal lining.
Department of Civil Engineering was organized a seminar on
"Modern Techniques used for Canal Lining"on 15th July
2016 for 7thSEM Civil. This activity was designed by Prof.
Kajal Dudhatra and Prof. Jay Vekariya. Student coordinator
of this activity is Sihora Gopal. During this activity student
was get knowledge related to Canal Lining Technique, its
importance and necessity and its advantages.
During This seminar students get knowledge related the
Canal lining Techniques and they are aware about its working
or construction procedure.

activity, Yoga Shibir was
organized by B.H. Gardi ACo l l e ge o f Eng inee r ing and
Technology, from 1st September to 3rd
September for all the first year
students at the institute campus under
the guidance of yoga guru Shrimati
Gitaben Jadeja and her team who were
the experienced trainers under Baba
Ramdev Maharaj. More than 110
students took part in this three days
seminar that gave the participants an
overview of the role Yoga can play in
lifestyle disorders by inculcating a
healthy habit thereby a healthy
lifestyle. Along with the explanation of
each yogasan and their benefits there
was a member present on all the three
days to demonstrate the yogs so that
student could easily follow.
The message conveyed to the students
was that the ancient principle of Yoga
enhances the health and wellness of
the person at all levels: physical,
emotional and spiritual. It is based on
the holistic approach of an individual,
because in order to acquire true
health, all aspects of
a person must be
addressed in total.
Students were also
told that Yoga is good
choice for people
with specific health
concerns, who want
to acquire tools
specific to their
condition to improve
w e l l n e s s . T h e
students were asked
to carry out the yogas
and pranayamas regularly but in the
proper way. The students were also
told the need to integrate traditional
healing methods with modern
medication and said that yoga often
enhances the benefits gained from
modern medical treatments while
reducing unwanted side effects. There
was stress laid on the fact that Yoga was
able to cure many diseases like thyroid,
cancer, breathing problem and many
others. It was also explained that there
can be improvement of physiological
functions through regular practice of
Yoga.
Shrimati Gitaben Jadeja addressed the
students continuously for three days
telling them that Yoga was a well laid
path of disciplined structure to address
all the dimensions of human system,
i.e. body, breath, mind, intellect and
emotion. Every student present at the
ground performed the yogas with great
enthusiasm and effort. The yogas they
performed included simple warm-ups
(surya namaskar), breath body
movement coordination practices, and
static stretching postures, breathing
techniques, relaxation and chanting.
At the end of the third day, all the
students present during this three days
expressed their experience at the end
of the Shibir and stated they felt
relaxed, rejuvenated and calm after
the sessions. Token of our love and
respect was presented to all the guest
honor present on these three days of
the camp. Students at the end of the
camp gained a lot and added a new
perspective to their life.
