Postgraduate Interventional Pulmonology Course (22 nd year) September 29 – 30, 2017 University Clinic Golnik, Slovenia Dear colleagues, It is our pleasure to invite you to our, yet Postgraduate Interventional Bronchoscopy Course 22 nd . This 2-day English-language intensive course is an excellent learning opportunity for pulmonologists, interested in basic bronchoscopy skills or more experienced ones to refresh and upgrade their knowledge. The expert faculty will bring you up-to-date topics by innovative approach, based on lectures, problem-based learning, hands-on workshops, live transmissions and small-group discussion. You will have opportunity to increase your skills in the following areas: • basic bronchoscopy skills • management of pleural diseases • evaluation of mediastinal lymph nodes • bronchoscopy planning in lung cancer • evaluation of diffuse lung infiltrates • obstructive bronchial diseases and emphysema • sedation, anesthesia and ventilation during bronchoscopy • anticoagulant therapy planning before interventional procedures. Hands-on sessions will include training of flexible bronchoscopy on models, training of TBNA, (trans)bronchial forceps biopsy, cryobiopsy, EBUS-TBNA and BLVR valve.
