POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES 2014/2015
On‐line applications are invited for entry in September 2014 from suitably qualified persons who wish to pursue the
postgraduate programmes listed on our website.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the general University Regulations governing admission to a Higher Degree and must possess a
good Honours Degree in the relevant subject area. MPhil and PhD candidates are normally required to have at least an
Upper Second Class Honours Degree.
Graduates of Universities other than UWI, should request that a copy of their Official Transcript be forwarded directly to the
Office of Graduate Studies and Research, UWI, St. Augustine immediately upon application.

Please note that The University of the West Indies has moved to ON‐LINE APPLICATIONS and you will therefore be
required to visit our website at www.sta.uwi.edu/postgrad where information on all programmes to be offered for the
upcoming academic year and instructions on “How to Apply” are available.
NB: All communication concerning your application will be by email and it is therefore absolutely necessary that you
have a current email address.
Applicants are reminded that references must accompany all applications in sealed envelopes. Applications WILL NOT be
considered without the relevant documents itemized in our instructions.
You may also visit our website at http://www.uwi.edu/students/programmes.aspx which gives a list of all programmes offered at our three (3) campuses. Applications for entry to programmes at the Cave Hill or Mona campus must be made directly to the relevant campus.
