July 16, 2015 MEMO TO SIPEKNE’KATIK POST-SECONDARY STUDENDS RE: DEADLINE FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION FUNDING APPLICATION DEADLINE Dear Sipekne’katik Post-Secondary Students, As per Sipekne ’katik’s Post-Sec ondary Policy, all students (new and returning) are required to apply for funding 40 days prior to the start date of their program. The deadline to submit the Post-Secondary funding application and other required documentation for students attending during the fall semester will be July 23, 2015. Students must have all required documents for the Post- Secondary Application sent electronically (scanned and emailed) to [email protected]. These required documents are: • Post-Secondary application for funding • Post-Secondary Policy initialed and signed • Copy of Certificate of Indian Status (Status Card) • Release of information form from your Post-Secondary Institution signed Applicat ions will not be accepted after the deadline. If your applicat ion is not submitted by July 23, 2015 you will have to wait to apply for the winter semester when these next round of funding applications are released.
