How will the feedback benefit the production?

The feedback will help us improve, as we are able to gain an insight of our audience. Their feedback and criticism helps to improve our film.

Gender

Page 4: Post-Questionnaire Results

The questionnaire was given to 6 males and 4 females as this questionnaire was voluntarily. This shows that males might have more interest in thriller films.

The results show

40% - Females

60% - Males

This agrees with the stereotyping of males liking thriller films more than females. This helps us know that our film is made for our both sex’s.

30% of the participants said that the opening scene did not intrigued them to watch more of the film whereas 70% of the participants said that they are intrigued to watch more of the film.

To makes the 30% intrigued to watch the film we have to improve on the storyline and the ending, also the ending could end by a cliff-hanger to grab the audiences attention.

Did the opening sequence fol-low the convention of a thriller

film?

Page 14: Post-Questionnaire Results

According to the audience the opening sequence follow the convention of a thriller film.

As 60% of the audience said that the film was recognised to be a thriller and 40% said that the film was not.

This makes us want to change the 40% of the audience to make then also recognise it is a thriller film.

This will be done by intensifying scenes to make then look completely thriller like.

We were not fully satisfied with the editing done so we decided to add this question to get a insight of what the audience makes of the editing.

60% of the audience think that the editing was effective and only 40% of the audience think that the editing was not effective and needs improving.

This helps us to improve as we would like the 40% of the audience to think that the editing was effective. So these results show that the editing might be needed to be improved on some areas but over all it is good.

Conclusion:As a group, we are planning to use this feedback

to help us reconstruct areas of the film, and to address to the technical areas such as editing and camera movements and angles.

This helps us see our strengths and weaknesses and it has been helpful as it helps us to take the right decision to hopefully make the opening sequence successful by the feedback.
