OVERVIEW

Statistical data show that China will need 6810 new aircraft over the next 20 years, the total value of more than US $1.0 trillion, Chinese civil aviation fleet scale will increase to nearly three times than now. By 2034, China's new aircraft accounted for 16.6% of the total global aircrafts, accounts for 42% of the total number of new aircrafts in the Asia-pacific region, its market value also occupies the world of 17% of the total value of the new aircrafts, and China is expected to surpass the U.S. in 2030 to become the world's largest aviation market. with the speeding up of the research and development of China's civil aviation market and the influence of the aircraft fleet updates coming, In the next few years, China's avionics market will present the trend of accelerated growth.

Organized by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Chinese Aeronautical Establishment, co-organized by Galleon, Civil Avionics International Forum 2017 was held on April 18th – 19th, 2017. With the theme

of New Idea, New Concept, Foresee the Future, CAIF 2016 a t t rac ted over 400 de lega tes f rom governments , organizations, insti tutes, universit ies and industrial enterprises. And, CAIF 2017 hosted nearly 30 home and abroad speakers, who delivered informative and cutting edge keynote speeches and joined the l ively panel discussion. These expert speakers showed cutting edge topics such as, New Navigation System, Developing Avionics in China, Iridium NEXT, SkyFusion, Enhanced Vision System, etc...

CAIF 2017 also featured one to one meeting, exhibition, and media interview in order to try its best to make delegates informative. We are delighted to express that this year’ s summit has deeper impression not only because it has gathered almost global leading enterprises in avionics industry but also it has discussed valuable topics.
