Post conference field trip (FT7) Tujuh Bukit and Ijen Crater, old and new acid sulphate hydrothermal systems OVERVIEW: Travel to Banyuwangi Provence in East Java to observe a present day analogue of a high-sulphidation epithermal system in formation then tour the Tujuh Bukit mine operations to see text book examples of high-sulphidation mineralisation in context to the underlying transitional porphyry environment over 1,000 vertical metres (open pit exposures and core from recent deep drilling into the upper high transitional porphyry zone)company.
