We then provide our clients with all available information by economic sector and/or by beneficiary country.

Our presence in the center of European decision making processes, a good connection with multilateral financial institutions, and the proximity to third countries missions to the EU are essential to provide timely, clear and assertive information, and an added-value in identifying new business opportunities in those countries.

31ENTREPRENEURIAL MISSION TO THE WORLD BANK GROUP AND INTER-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK

BUSINESS DELEGATION

REN is a benchmark in two main fields of business. The first is very high-voltage electricity transmission and overall technical management of Portugal’s national electricity grid. The second is the high-pressure transportation of natural gas, and overall technical management of Portugal’s natural-gas grid, involving the reception, storage and regasification of LNG and the underground storage of natural gas. REN is one of the world’s few transmission-system operators to hold public-service concessions for all of the public electricity and gas transmission and transportation grids. As a result of Portugal’s commitment to renewable energies, the Portuguese state has granted Enondas – Energia das Ondas, S.A., a company fully owned by REN, the concession to operate a maritime pilot zone aimed at generating electricity from waves. REN is also involved in telecommunications and energy trading through its holding in Operador do Mercado Ibérico de Energia, S.A., which is the Portuguese element of the Iberian electricity- -derivatives trading market. In our quest to be one of Europe’s most efficient electricity and natural-gas transmission and transportation operators, satisfying all quality and safety requirements, REN is seeking to build value for its shareholders within a framework of prosperous and sustainable development.

The aim of Consultant Services Office is to make available to others our recognized expertise, developed inside our company during the last decades.
