The Porto city is a historical city. Of course it has the modern part but expecificly it’s historical.
Bridge Dom Luis I
The Dom Luis I Bridge is one of the most known monument in the Porto City. It was built by Théophile Seyrig, an engineer that worked on the Eiffel home. The constraction started in 1881 and finished at October 1887.
São Bento Station
The São Bento station is also one of the most famous things in Porto City. It’s a train station situated on the center. It’s possible to travel all around the country.
House of Music
The House of Music (Casa da Música) is the most modern popular place in Porto. Here you can go to a lot of concerts of any type of music that you want! But mostly classic music.
Little old houses
Porto is also recognized for those little old houses that built a lot of centuries ago and still stand today! All the center of Porto is covered with those houses that a lot of tourists appreciate them.
Little old trains
Porto has really old little trains which can take you out on a visit throughout the hole center of the city. Some tourists think that they are really funny and a good way to learn more about the city.
Red Bus
Another good way to know more about the city is taking a ticket at the Red Bus. It helps a lot and it’s not just focused on the center of the city, but the whole city.
City parkThe city park (Parque da Cidade) is the biggest park in Portugal! His area is 83 hectares! It was built in 1993 by Sidónio Pardal.
Surf
On Porto the most modern sport is surf. Many times per year lots of suffers compete. Porto beaches have big waves that are really cool to practice surf!
Weather
The weather in Porto is a main contributant for it’s touristic success. In Porto the sun is often shining and the weather isn‘t too cold or too hot, it’s perfectly balanced. For a lot of tourists that visit or have visited Porto say that the weather is amazing!
