Hi!

Good day to us all.

First thing first, let me introduce myself. I am Mahendra Satya and I am 26-year old. I describe myself as a Digital Media Specialist with more than four years of experience. Despite my young age, I have a great experience and knowledge to share with you.

I graduated from Victoria University of Sunway Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in 2012 and since then I have been doing many works related to Digital Media world. If you are looking for an experience, hard working and professional worker then you are at the right place.

I currently work as content writer at PT Excel Media Group. Even though I work as a writer, my job relevancy is not far from doing SEO management and social media development. I also work for more than four year developing my own website as CEO and social media manager.

These are my skills:

1. Advanced digital media and social media specialist and planner.2. Advanced skills of SEO/SMO and digital media advertising including Google Ads and social media

ads with an advanced social media monitoring software.3. Advanced promotional copy-writing skill; and4. Advanced content, platform and campaign media strategies development.

You will find four projects I have been doing in previous jobs and my plan how to develop your company to reach new level in digital media using my experiences, knowledge and skills.

In total, I have more than five years experience as social media and digital media specialist on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and massaging applications. And will look further to new challenges and experiences.

In my portfolio, you will find a lot of figures that defines my works through the years and my future plans, if hired.

1. Previous projects

Project 1: IndoLiverpoolFC

IndoLiverpoolFC is basically a fanbase of Liverpool FC lovers in Indonesia found in 2011 based on social media. I took charge this account three-month after when their followers were only 700 when I was in University. They grew significantly after I joined as digital media specialist – with our most significant strength was giving exclusive Liverpool news to followers.

As this is a start-up media company, I am learning on how to engage more followers, gaining their trust of our media platform and managing website content and ads placement. Most importantly, I learned to be a social media optimizer and organizing a big event attended by more than 100 people when we created a seminar and bazaar in 2013.

Later in 2012, I became the manager and working with seven people. Three content writers, two digital media strategists and two designers. Together, we develop our own website reaching our main target to be the top of SERP by using an organic SEO only advertisement. Therefore, managing websites and media accounts content would not be a problem for me.

Result: Advanced SEO/SMO skills, digital ads (such as FB/Twitter buzz) and advanced digital content management.

Project 2: Liverpool FC Indonesia

An English football club, Liverpool Football Club, came knocking to me to work for them as a writer and social media specialist in 2012. They needed someone who knows exactly their target market and they came to exactly the right person.

Together with an editor and six writers and two other digital media specialists I significantly grow this Official Liverpool FC account in Indonesia market by lead the market to visit Indonesia.liverpoolfc.com and follow us on Social Media. Giving them official exclusive news in Bahasa Indonesia and giving live report were two of the most engaging tool to be become successful.

Figure 2.1 and figure 2.2, 142,509 followers on Twitter and 27 million plus like on Facebook, have shown how successful Indonesian team managing website and social media contents.

Result: Advanced SMO skills, advanced official followers engagement.

Project 3: Djarum Super Soccer

In 2014 I chose to accept an offer to work with one of the most prestigious Indonesia football website in Indonesia, supersoccer.co.id. In here, I worked as digital media specialists on their social media. Engaging and interact with followers on social media with a backlink redirecting to our website and reached more than 20,000 followers in three months.

It was also successful, 50,000 more visits per day was the target by that time we had an exclusive media partner for the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil and I reached it successfully via optimizing our social media (eg, Twitter and Facebook) and massaging application Kakao Talk.

Even though I am not too long enough to be at Super Soccer, I definitely learned how to create a company’s images via social media and developing company’s Digital Advertising, TV Ads, Social Media Twitter and Facebook ads and most importantly managing SEO for on-page and off-page.

Project 4: PT Excel Media Group

PT Excel Media Group is a media company who covering sports, economy and politics news. I am working on company’s sports project called sepakbola.com.

Sepakbola.com has developed into one of the most prestigious football website in Indonesia in the last two years covering World Cup, European Football and upcoming European Championship 2016. Working with three editors as content writer who responsible for website’s content and SEO based management

including meta title, meta description and meta keyword to increase company profile on search engines and work together with digital media staff to reach a good SERP ranking.

This figure consists of a backlink redirecting readers to other news on website and has a share button on social media that Google loves. By using a good on-page SEO management, the company does not need to worry with off-page SEO to generate backlink and we only focusing on on-site management and social media as back-link generator.

Result: Advanced SEO management, copy writing.

2. Planning

2.1 SEO Management

In order to reach to be at the top of SERP rank, the SEO of a company need to maintain their website thoroughly. Google robot has more ‘respect’ to websites that are consist back-link, images and headline are relevant to SEO keywords as explained in following figure.

2.2 What is the most effective Social Media platform?

According to Waggener Edstrom Asia-Pacific, the top five social network and massaging apps in Asia-Pacific is controlled by Facebook. Meaning, Facebook among other is the most effective social media platform to use as marketing promotion. Even though every social networks have their advantages and disadvantages.

2.3 What would I do based on my experience?

Traditional marketing had declining in the past five years, it replaced by digital advertising with a lot of people move to digital media. That is why a print media platform has lost its market. The only remaining effective marketing is advertising on TV.

Based on my past experience, I would like to look on company’s website thoroughly and creating a better SEO management for website contents and structure. Because automatically Google will put company’s website in a good SERP rank by doing a right on-page management that will lead to new people visiting the website and by creating a good and easy content for readers to gain new information, that will lead to a change in website visitors to new customers.

Social Media will be very important as important as website management because they will be our main tools to gain and create brand awareness. But, it also important to use the right and most effective social network such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter or Instagram in order to market products in digital media.

2.4 This is how I will do it

People in digital media really like an FB/Twitter post with pictures. For example whether on Facebook or Twitter, people have a tendency to stay longer on a post if consist a picture or two. These pictures can contain website graphics on excellences and new promos if we share it on the right hours.

With knowing our audience demographics by using research and analytics tool softwares including when to post (eg day and hours) our ads, we can reach our rightfully targeted audience and also potential new customers. This information will help company to create campaign with our audience. Using a non-organic SEO management will also help boosting company profile on social media such as Facebook ads, Twitter ads/Buzzer, Instagram ads/Buzzer and using massaging application such as LINE ads/@ , Whatsapp ads or Kakao Talk ads.

Google ads will definitely help the company to reach a great rank of SERP because company website will appear on the first page of Google search engine anytime potential customer searching for our relevant keyword on search engine. But it will cost a lot of money and have a time limit to be at the first page on search engine, that’s why I stressed a better on-page SEO management in collaboration with content writers and social media department. It has been proven less costly and more effective in a long run.

Creating a friendly social media marketing benchmark will lead to successful people engagement and resulting in creating loyal customers and potential customers.

4. Conclusion

With my knowledge and my experience I have been successful in my career as Digital Media Specialist for more than four years with advance skill of SEO/SMO management and advance skill, knowledge of digital media audience and familiarity of social media advertising.

SEO management will require to boost SERP when new people looking for what they need on search engine and company’s website is at the first page in search engine. Using a better on-page SEO management proves more effective on search engine especially Google rather than costly non-organic SEO such as ads on Google.

Digital media has become the most powerful platform to do marketing these days with its dynamism and challenges. But they have big uncertainties and need the right and creative people to be in it and to manage it. Therefore, I will consider myself as a suitable candidate for your company.
