Tongzhou has more than 2000 years of history since Han dynasty, it was called Luxian in East Han dynasty. In 1151, the king of Hailing named “Bei-
jing-Hangzhou“ canal “Jing-hang canal“, the “Luzhou“ named as “Tongzhou“
During the 800 years of “Jin/ Yuan/ Ming/ Qing“ four dynasties, tongzhou was the distribution center of Beijing
During the time of Republic of China, “Tongzhou“ was belonged ot Herbei pro. and liberated in 1948
During 1949-1950, tongzhou named “Tongxian“ and in 1954 set up two branches as “Tongxian“ and “Tongzhou“
