Samples of Work 1. Miller Party Deck: My first project

that I worked on was the Miller party deck. First I went out and took pictures of the site. I then sent the pictures to my boss for measurements. Below you will see the final product. I learned how many steps that it takes to produce one wall art as well as the amount of clients one must please in order to achieve the final product.

2. Max indoor Soccer: Northern Media Inc was one of the many sponsors for the Max indoor soccer tournament. I was responsible for keeping score of the various matches as well as setting up the Northern Media inc booth. I learned how much hard work it is setting up and working a large children’s tournament. There are so many small and specific details that go into planning such a large event. I learned the value of organization.

3. Leinie Lodge: This was my favorite assignment that I had the opportunity of working on, plus I got to meet with so many major beer distributors. It was my job to take before and after pictures of this project. I learned a lot in regards to how many countless number of hours that go into this type of program and the amount of workers used for a project of this magnitude. The final product was wonderfully done. The before and after pictures can be seen on the right.

Northern Media: Summer intern expenses sheet

4. Expense Sheet: For my fourth sample of work It was my responsibility to keep track of all my out of pocket expenses. In order for me to be reimbursed each month, I needed to hold on to all of my receipts as well as submit a spread sheet each month showing what I have spent. If I did not have it in by the first of the month I would not be reimbursed by the company. I learned a great deal from this expense sheet. It taught me to always check each receipt I was given to make sure the charge amount was correct. I also learned how important it is to be organized, because if I was not it would have been money lost out of my own pocket.

5. Office Work: I was responsible for maintaining the office files, daily emails, faxes and writing down on a dry erase board all upcoming projects. Even though I had to do an excel spread sheet for the upcoming projects, my boss is a visual learner and required me to write all the upcoming projects on a big dry erase board located in his office. From this I learned that even when you think something is pointless and a waste of time, you keep your opinions to yourself and do what you are told. That was probably one of the harder skills I had to learn.
