Equipped with over Nineteen years’ experience in healthcare. Working with Budgets, Contracts, identifying the actual cost of the services performed. I have worked in large organizations as well as a small company. I gained good experience at the larger organizations, however the small company experience helped me to wear many hats as well as work closely with other groups such as finance and IT. In the small company it felt like a team, the larger organizations tend to have more silos. I am Six Sigma Green belt trained, I have been a part of many projects that were not Six Sigma projects. I have created Job Aids and SOP’s for SOX compliance.

Projects

Ideal Project – While at AstraZeneca I was part of a team for the replacement of our Contract Management System. This was a long process starting with selecting the software firm to system launch and integration. I worked closely with IT and became the SME(Subject Matter Expert) for the system. I contributed with many system enhancements as well as workflows. I was the lead on the team to evaluate a series of upgrades to rank them over a two year period.

SPOT TEAM – At AstraZeneca I created this team for the Claims Specialist to review the process and workflows to develop continuity. This helped standardize our process.

Job Aids and SOP’s – At AstraZeneca I was part of a team to create Job Aids and SOP’s, my role was author and reviewer. I completed many Job Aids for other roles which required me to interview the team member to gain an understanding of their work flow and create the Job Aid accurately.

Medicare Part D – When Medicare Part D rolled out AstraZeneca had to adjust to include Medicare in the rebate program. Participate on a team to understand the Medicare regulations as well as how this would impact other lines of business, i.e. Lives moving from one type of plan onto Medicare Part D. This would impact market share.

DP&C Project –As an Analyst at PSE&G I assisted the project managers to manage project spend. Monitoring the current value of the Purchase Orders and assisting in providing the documentation to request an increase to the Purchase Orders.

Process Improvement – At everyone organization I suggest process improvements to the current work flows.
