I’m an experienced designer looking for a creative environment to contribute to innovative products.

In companies like Nokia, Motorola and Nextel, I’ve acquired solid experience designing applications for web and mobile phones, applying Information Architecture and Usability techniques.

During my carrier I worked with many software tools for image creation and edition including Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and lately Axure prototyping.

I’m also an illustrator, which gives me a strong visual design sense.

Worked as Sr. User Experience Designer, leading the design of the email application available on the S40 platform (also known as Nokia Messaging). My tasks included designing the application’s behavior following the platform standards and also exploring all its potential. As part of my team’s good practices I also created rich user interface specifications (UI flows), detailed documentation presenting what the user would see on the screen step-by-step.

Visual VoicemailSimilar to Email, Visual Voicemail allows the user to select voice messages from an inbox and play them using a customized media player. The design proposed a new feature - to play automatically all new messages. With extended capabilities the feature supported the tradicional user experience where the users just pressed one button to listen to the new messages.
