I recently graduated from the Masters of Human-Computer Interaction program at Carnegie Mellon University /Portugal. I am particularly interested in User Research and Interaction Design, and I aim to combine these two related areas in my professional life.

FlyTalk

FlyTalk is a mobile application to enhance the traveler’s experience at the same time giving the airport more information about the traveler. Based on months of research Flytalk is designed to provide manageability of airport information while giving a personalized experience and a way to communicate with other travelers and airport officials

FramesBond

FramesBond is a design solution that enables photo-sharing and facilitates communication between family members using a cloud-enabled digital photo frame. Using the smartphone, parents can annotate and share photos. FramesBond also allows users to place customized interactive buttons on a photo, which other members can select to provide feedback

Naviglasses

Naviglasses suggests the main points of interest of the city, while the tourist is navigating the city. The tourist has the option to bookmark the location and retrieved the information later The tourist also has the option to take and share the photos with family and friends through a digital photo frame. G Love

G Love aims to capture gardeners' experimentation, in a daily basis, and also the fond memories of their pastime. We built the controls into the gloves so that people could control recording and playback without looking away from their plants. We added RFID to gardeners' crop labels; gardeners could record or playback tracks for a specific crop just by touching its label first.

Power Meter Power Meter is an energy meter that allows households to have real time feedback of energy consumption. A color scheme is used to illustrate the amount of energy spent according to the international energy standard (green, yellow, orange and red). Ideally the feedback provided will motivate the users to reduce and/or control the amount of energy spent, changing user behavior towards home energy consumption.

Meeting Plaza During the fall semester our team applied several methods in order to explore, discover and evaluate MeetingPlaza current software. Our process had different phases: exploration, generation, and evaluation. By synthesizing the data from each of these phases, we were able to brainstormed/recommend a number of possible improvements We then built and refined ideas to create the wireframe proposals
