My name is Eduardo Mena. I’m an Industrial Designer in his 9th semester and last year of college. I study at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Queréta-ro in México where I arrived originally from the Dominican Republic .

From a young age I fortunately were always exposed to design, art, and to the way in which creativity is used to innovate. One day I decided that I was going to be a designer, and each day and project that goes by I become more proud and passionate of that decision.

The shape is Inspired by the distribution of the vampire squid tentacles, and the ability to power on warning indicators (bioluminescence) in the firefly squid. To display the total energy consumption, the way how the vampire squid releases a biolumi-nescent mucus when he thinks are in danger is mimicked.

In this case the danger for the earth and to your economy is excessive power consumption.
