a vision for a sustainable shopping experience. The project extablished an alternative to the generic supermarket, as the grocery shopping takes place as a refilling of goods in a recreational and sensous appealling garden.
The project embraces an existing building and landscape, that recently was replaced by a generic supermarked volume.
Studio Fountainhead is a critical practicethat contributes to the architectural debate in newspapers and periodicals.

The project establishes a complex spatial meeting between living, working and visiting. The house creates a minor urbanity in contrast to the desolated place in the grand norwegian fjord landscape.

LANDSCAPES OF CHILDREN’S CULTURE - ONGOINGSTUDIO FOUNTAINHEAD

a tranformation of an elementary school in Sorø, Denmark. Closely knit to the existing use and program, the proposal is one of a limited invention in the existing building mass, lifting the atmospheric and spatial conditions corresponding to the de facto use: A contemporary cultural institution.
“The idea is to support, develop and create sustainable social networks in a minor local community by establishing a common house of culture and childrens activities, “Mulithuset”, within the constrains of a former elementary school, that now houses a kindergarten, a center for children with hearing disabilities, a daycare center and a civic space for numerous selforganized groups. The house has for many years been a turning point for the local cultural life. “
Quote, Munke Bjgerby civic unoin organisation.
The project tranformes the introvert countyside school to a cultural landscape in a few precise gestures. The building opens seemlessly towards the outside natural sourroundings in an noninstitutional, dignified manner.
Process spreads from presentation booklet.

The Turning Point marks a place in the habour of Copenhagen while creating a generous alternative to the commercial opportunities of recreation.
A series of objects and ceramic botanical archives marks a tiny path and two comforting places in the wild garden. The archives introduce plants from nearby walks and thereby a personal memory of the sourrounding landscape. The objects become alive and pregnant with stories. The landscape and the inhabiting life become one breathing piece of architecture.
Layers of Landscape: Paths, places and objects. Landscapes of memory.

STUDIES THESIS
An idealistic pedagogical program lays the foundation for a complete reprogramming of 30.000 sq.m of the academy,
implementing the vision by adding only small scale architecture (see next page). The project understands the foundation of
architectural pedagogy as a complex spatial condition.
A NEW SCHOOL OF ARCHITCTURE IN COPENHAGEN
11/18
“Architects and critics all too often forget the poignancy and play that architecture is capable of, because they think of archi-tecture as an vessel in which life happens, rather than a performance of life itself, of the culture of life, of how we as a culture think life in and through architecture”
