“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3)
“Poor in spirit” is confusing for many of us. It simply means to place your trust in God, putting His will first and being strong in faith. As we celebrate the lives of the saints on All Saints Day, remember, we, too are called to be saints. Dialing down our own pride and ego and turning up the humility will help us on our path to sainthood.

“Rejoice and be glad for your reward is in heaven.” Matthew 5:12a
Today is All Saints Day, as we are surrounded by the mighty communion of saints. Saints were all ordinary people searching for truth and God, and lived their lives in extraordinary ways.
Have you noticed our new bright blessed blue door? (Thank you Randy!)
Enjoy the blessings of all the saints and souls around us.
Have a saintly week.

Purchase tickets by sending your reservation into the school office in an envelope marked “Father/Daughter Dance”. Cash and checks (made payable to St. Peter’s School) are accepted. Tickets may be purchased online via the link on the school website or our Facebook page. The admission price is $45 per couple, plus $5 for each additional guest.
Frank’s Pizza will be hosting a St. Peter’s Day on Tuesday, November 17th. It will run the entire day, and includes both eat-in and take-out. Cash and credit are accepted.
