    CONVEYOR BELTS AND EQUIPMENT AT THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL TERMINAL

    This price covers unloading products for storage in the bulk terminal’s yard. It is remunerationfor using the conveyor belts and the gantry crane.

    The price covers rental of the spreaders, power and all the related labour costs.

    The movements relate to movements of the laden spreader from the side of the ship to the quay or from thequay to the side of the ship. The loads taken into account are single or twin containers, hatch covers, andstacking containers. A shift from one side to another is recorded as one movement, while a shift from theship’s side to the quay to the ship’s side is recorded as two movements.

    Movements of oversized containers requiring chains or extensions to be fitted that do not exceed 5% of thetotal number of movements.

    Special loads (boats, heavy parcels, etc.) shall form the subject of a quotation and specific invoicing.

    PROVISIONS COMMON TO ALL LIFTING MACHINES

    Waiting times

    In the event of non-use of the machine ordered due to bad weather (it is impossible to operate the machine),the lateness of a ship, or due to operations being completed before the end of the work hours, the reductionreferred to in the price list specific to each of the machines will be applied.

    This reduction is applied by the port operator in proportion to the waiting time, which shall be proved bypresenting the ship’s time sheet, countersigned by the stevedore and the ship’s captain.

    This provision does not apply to orders for individual hours between 6 am and 8 pm.

    Lifting machinery breakdowns

    In the event of a breakdown that lasts more than one hour, there will be no invoicing of the machine for thelength of time that the breakdown takes up.

    In the event of intermittent breakdowns that last more than one hour over a work period ordered that lasts fourhours or more than one and three-quarters of an hour over a seven-hour time period ordered, whether or notthe machine will be invoiced is left to the port operator to assess, depending on the circumstances of thebreakdowns and their impact on the conduct of the handling operations for the port call.

    Non-invoicing of machines in the event of a breakdown is subject to the port operator being presented with theship’s time sheet, countersigned by the stevedore and the ship’s captain.

    Miscellaneous interventions by the port operator’s staff, whether or not they involve using port installations,equipment or tools, are carried out based on a quotation, on request.

    D - PASSENGERS TERMINAL

    PASSENGERS WHO ARE EMBARKED OR DISEMBARKED

    The following are not subject to the passengers fee:– Children under the age of four,– Military personnel voyaging with their units,– Ship’s crew,– Agents of the ship-owner who are travelling on business purposes and who have a free ticket,– Civil servants in the course of carrying out their missions on board.

    The following benefit from a 50% reduction:– Children who are four to twelve years old.

    Cancellation fees for ferries for passengers on ferry boats and car ferries processed at the station on Quay D3 inthe event of a port call not being completed due to the Company’s fault. Cancellation costs will not be owed in

    REDUCTIONS FOR NEW LINES

    Lines for passengers and rolling cargo that are newly created benefit from the following reductions applying toall of the equipment fees above relating to the passengers terminal:

    50% reduction during the first year, above and beyond 25,000 passengers

    50% reduction during the second year, above and beyond 35,000 passengers

    50% reduction during the third year, above and beyond 45,000 passengers

    The reductions are applied per operator to the total traffic for the lines that it operates departing from the Portof Sète when those lines are serviced by the same ships, with any new line handled by these ships thenbenefiting from the reduction rate applied to the lines previously opened.

    CONSOLIDATION OF NEW LINES > 3 YEARS OLD

    For ships belonging to the same company assigned to regular lines and which habitually frequent the port, areduction may continue to apply above and beyond the third year, depending on the annual passengersvolume:

    50% reduction during the fourth year, above and beyond 55,000 passengers

    50% reduction during the fifth year, above and beyond 65,000 passengers

    REDUCTIONS FOR EXISTING LINES

    Existing passenger and rolling cargo lines benefit from the following reductions applying to all of the equipmentfees above relating to the passengers terminal:

    The reductions are applied per operator to the total traffic for the lines that it operates departing from the Portof Sète. This reduction cannot be added to the reductions for new lines.

    OBJECTIVE-BASED REDUCTIONS

    An additional objective-based reduction applicable to the overall amount for the equipment fees may begranted, after examination and validation by the port operator, if the following conditions are fulfilled:

    Additional reduction of 10% above and beyond 160,000 passengers

    Additional reduction of 20% above and beyond 180,000 passengers

    Additional reduction of 30% above and beyond 200,000 passengers

    Additional reduction of 40% above and beyond de 220,000 passengers

    This provision is applicable to all of the passenger traffic for the calendar year but cannot be added on top ofthe reductions set out in Article 4 of the port fees.
