Case Studies The Grade II* listed building was built in the early 1900s and mak es up one-third of the “Three Graces” based at Liver pool’ s Pier Head, a Wor ld Heritage site. It was damaged during the Blitz in 1941 and is currently undergoing major internal and external restoration work by the owner, Liverpool’s biggest commercial landlord company, Downing. The building is home to some of t he m os t prestigious companies in Merseyside, including Rathbones Inv est ment Bank, and is the lar gest project ever undertaken by Ventrolla Lancashire. The wi ndo ws have been upgr ade d using the Ventrol la Per imet er Seal ing System (VPSS), which has been tested to 600 Pa, the equivalent to wi nds of 71 mp h, and ac hi ev ed Cl as s 3 of BS 6375-1. It was damaged during the Blitz in 1941 and is

currently undergoing major internal and external

restoration work by the owner, Liverpool’s biggest

The building is home to some of the mostprestigious companies in Merseyside, including

Rathbones Investment Bank, and is the largest

project ever undertaken by Ventrolla Lancashire.

The windows have been upgraded using the

Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (VPSS),

which has been tested to 600 Pa, the equivalent

to winds of 71 mph, and achieved Class 3

of BS 6375-1.

Ventrolla Lancashire was awarded the contract to renovate the

With its national headquarters in Harrogate,
