Matt Dunhae rocked our gym in late February with his hiphop message of the importance of caring for our mental health. Last week, The NISS girls’ basketball team joined us for a friendly compe- tition while our whale mascot worked the crowd and got everyone showing great school spirit. This week, PHSS hosted the District grade 6-7 basketball tourna- ment, and our students showed leadership in everything from set-up to reffing. The ‘Find Your Fit’ Worksafe BC event drew in crowds to explore interactive ac- tivities to help people find the right career path for themselves. Through all of these community-building events, our students have been excellent ambassadors and role models for our visiting students. We are very proud of them.
