• Mushrooms, bryophytes and lichens are inadequately studied but there is evidence that numerous species exist.

• The main current threats to vascular plants in Cyprus arise from the trend away from traditional to intensive farming, housing and infrastructural development, and land use changes. The most widespread and serious impacts arise from land use change, infrastructure and changing agriculture practices such as conversion of traditional practices, and heavy applications of nitrogen fertilisers. Climate change poses a serious potential threat to the flora, however the trends have not been assessed.

• According to the Red Book of Flora of Cyprus, 3% of endemic plants of Cyprus are characterized as Critically Endangered (CR), 6% Endangered (EN), 22% as Vulnerable (VU), 1 as Close Threatened (NT), 1 as Low Danger (LC) and 67% as Not Threatened based on the preliminary evaluation (Non Threatened-preliminary evaluation).

Arctic ice is melting – polar bears are endangeredas their habitat is in danger.

• Air is the most important things that nature provide us , because NO air NO life!

• Some foreign products which are caused by the air pollution have detrimental effects on living organisms and damage to the environment.

• Cars release chemicals which are also harmful to the environment . These gases cause a lot of bad phenomenonslike acid rain.

• Factories release fumes which cause the same dangerous earths and humans problems!

• Electrical appliances release chemicals and radioactivity which lead format of holes in the Ozone layer .This holes with the help of the sun reach the earth and cause serious health problems for all the generation!!!

“We have to care about the environment , what we have to do we have to do it NOW!!

We have to realize that the air we breath is equivalent to smoking 2 packs of cigarettes per day!

The smoke and the pollution are becoming so thick that on some nights you cant see the stars!!

Cars are responsible for the 40%-90% of the worlds air pollution!!

Also there was taken an interview from teachers of Mexico . They said that:

• When children draw the sky , they rarely use the blue color BUT now they use BLACK!!

• Nothing isn't normal anymore

• Collect packaging materials selectively!
