Squamers es un fabricante y distribuidor global de mosaico vítreo. La compañía, ubicada en Onda (Castellón), nace con fuerza como especialista en piscinas con una misión clara: acercar las piscinas de diseño a todo el mundo.

There is life beyond classic dolphins (although we do have them). Singularity is the new hit. At

Squamers we don’t want you to have just a pool out of many, but a design pool that everybody

will post on social media.

If you choose one of our designs that is adaptable to your pool you are on a roll, we have the best price for you. However, bear in mind that we do not resize, enlarge or reduce it. We will simply choose the part of the design that best fits your pool.

If the design you like does not completely fit, we can work on it. Maybe you would like to change the color, the text or even the image size.Our designers will help you find the best customized proposal.

If you are creative and looking for absolute exclusivity we can also help you. The price is higher, but you will have the pool you always imagined. The only thing you will have to do is give us or propose the model and the measurements. We are confident that our proposal will meet your expectations.

En Squamers queremos sorprenderte con diseños originales, pero puede que no te guste ninguno de nuestros 90 decora-dos. ¡Lástima! Aunque no pasa nada, porque podemos hacer “casi” todo lo que se te ocurra. ¿Te imaginas cubrir el fondo con esa foto del viaje a Roma? ¿O poner a tu perro Tobby aquel día lluvioso que excavó el jardín? ¿Y si ponemos bien centradito el logotipo de tu grupo favorito de rock?

La creatividad es gratis, pero el metro cuadrado del material te costará un poquito más. Es el precio por ser el único en el mundo que tenga esa piscina. ¿Lógico, no? Dinos tus gustos, envíanos referentes, pásanos tus fotos en alta resolución… Para acertar tenemos que conocernos mejor.

At Squamers we want to surprise you with original designs, but you may not like any of the 90 we have. Pity! Although there is no need to worry, because we can do “almost” everything you can think of. Can you imagine covering the bottom with the photo you took during your trip to Rome? Or that rainy day when your dog Toby was digging in the garden? Or what if we put your favorite rock band’s logo right in the middle of the pool?

Creativity is free, but the square meter of the material will cost you a little bit more. That is the price for being the only one in the world that owns that kind of a pool. It’s only too logical, right? Tell us about your tastes, send us your models, your high-resolution photos... We have to know each other better to get it right.

APPLICATION ADVICE /

THE LAYING OF MOSAIC TILES

Adhere the sheet to the surface by pressing with a rubber trowel.

It is important to make sure that the distance between one sheet and another is the same as the one among the tesseras so that all the joints look alike.

We suggest to join the sheets when it comes to laying.

COLOCACIÓN MOSAICO

Adherir la hoja a la superficie presionando con una llanta de goma

Es importante asegurarse que la distancia entre hoja y hoja es igual a la que hay entre las teselas para que todas las juntas sean iguales entre sí.

Aconsejamos trabar las hojas a la hora de su colocación.

THE GLUEING OPERATION

White C2 glue, as per EN12004, must be used.

By using the smooth side of the trowel, the glue has to be spread out uniformly on the base (2 sq.m. approximately).

By using the jagged side of the trowel (2 or 3 mm.), comb the glue.

OPERACIÓN ENCOLADO

Usar cemento cola tipo C2 color blanco, según EN 12004.

Con el lado dentado de la llana (2 ó 3 mm.) peinar el cemento cola.

The base on which the laying will be effected, must be perfectly smooth, uniform and white.

A different colour damages the aesthetic look of the final result.

El soporte sobre el cual se efectuará la colocación deberá estar perfectamente liso, uniforme y blanco.

Un color diferente perjudica la estética del resultado final.

GROUTING

Joints must be clean, dry and free form dust.

The remains of adhesive, after laying, must be removed while it is still fresh.

Use grouting paste, RG type, as per EN 13888, spread it out with a rubber trowel.

REJUNTADO

Las juntas deben estar limpias, secas y exentas de polvo.

El adhesivo sobrante de la colocación se debe eliminar cuando esté todavía freco.

Utilizar pasta de rejuntar tipo RG según EN 13888, extendiéndolo con una llana de goma.

CLEANING

Let it dry until the paste gets brightless, superficially, and then proceed to clean it with a sponge soaked in water.

Once it gets dry, remove it with a dry cloth.

LIMPIEZA

Dejar secar hasta que la masa pierda el brillo superficial y proceder a su limpieza con una esponja humedecida en agua.

Una vez seco eliminar con un trapo seco.
